Most westerners don't understand what war is.
When did these "innocent Israelis" protest against apartheid? Where were their tears when Palestinian homes were bulldozed? How much food/aid did they donate to Palestinians during the years of blockade?

It's incredible how he cannot commemorate a historic tragedy without politicising it to the current thing. If it was 2003 he would have related the holocaust to Saddam Hussein.
Makes you wonder what's happening with patients...
Wow that was really hard to read. Especially the children from Lviv in 1941, it's hard to believe humans are capable of such evil.
Well that's exactly it. If you've suffered from abuse and trauma but you live in poverty, you won't be able to afford the resources to manage your mental health. As well as the added weight of homelessness, hunger, debt collectors coming after you, can be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
Comrade, if you go I will miss you.
There's not really much I can say to help you but personally I found this video helpful for times when I have the hot flush of embarassment for something I did a long time ago: toxic shame: what it is and how to heal from it
This article is about Australian suicide rates but the main point applies: the determining factor when it comes to suicide is poverty.
Seems that the children of colonisers kept the legacy of making up borders with no historical/cultural basis. I'm actually surprised the boundaries on the map aren't straight lines.
Don't engage with the liberals, and especially don't argue with them. If they genuinely wanted to learn they would use the search bar instead of asking the same cliche questions over and over. They are intentionally trying to get a reaction to frustrate you.
No mention of the crimes Italy did in Dalmatia...
Good point about the inheritance. Actually I have seen it spread by communist from a "they are not left enough" perspective.
True, good point. I still don't see their approach become successful because from what I gather it's just "raising awareness", I'd hope by 2023 people are aware of climate change. I really feel for the young activists who are a part of JSO because they are trying to do something to fix the situation and are met with so much hostility from the public. To me it does come across as a way to drain young socially aware people's time/energy away from useful actions and towards actions that won't have any outcome.
The best approach for climate action is through workers & unions organising, eg: https://youtu.be/J5Whs9IsTds
Perhaps we could have a few pinned posts with FAQs? I'm seeing the same basic questions asked over and over again. It's becoming tiresome especially when it's debunking cold war/china bad propaganda 101. I really loved lurking lemmygrad over the past year because of how intelligent and interesting all of the content was from an ML perspective. I stopped using my account for a while because I didn't feel like I could add much to the discussion and just had a good time learning from others. Recently with all the liberals joining in I have to admit I've been baited into finding my account log in details. It's so frustrating to read through these long discussions every other day about XYZ false media narrative but I understand there are a lot of people who have never come across conflicting information to what they were taught in school/news. It can become a bit of a drain on your patience, it might be easier if it was all focused in one post people can be directed to.
