Tldr on the problem is that small differences in resistance between conductors and contacts in the cables can result in different currents in each wire. Previous cards would split pairs of pins up and have each of them current balanced (same current drawn in through each). The 40/50 series shorted all of the pins together, which doesnt allow for any current balancing on the GPU side.
Additionally, previous cards would refuse to turn on if any of those shorted pairs were not present - something the new cards can hardly detect. This could allow all but one high side wire to be cut and the GPU might not realize and try to draw all 50+A through a single conductor which is rated for <10A
The 9070xt that Steve at gamersnexus looked at which had the 12vhpwr connector also had this flawed design, but the power on the 9070xt is much much lower, so you are less likely to see a problem on those cards.
Make sure not to bag and toss all the leaves in the fall - leave a bunch in a pile in the corner of your yard. Thats where they like to stay at night
Ok Lemur
Well i have them tagged as a zionist troll already, so he gets the block
Considering I have them tagged as a musk apologist already, clearly theyre either an asshole or a troll. I give people a chance by tagging them first and blocking if I see them again stirring shit
Banks send bills which are damaged or defaced back to the treasury to be destroyed and get an equal amount of new bills in return. They distribute the new bills. While any individual bill could be traced back to the original bank you got it from, non sequential bills implies they were gathered from various places and have been in circulation long enough that any given bill will have exchanged many hands and thus would be unlikely to be traceable. If you go to a bank and withdraw a bunch of bills, you might receive sequential bills. Showing up to deposit sequential bills which were withdrawn by a single person is solid evidence of you interacting with that person. If they get caught with drugs and their accounts investigated, they might see that they withdrew a bunch of bills that were then deposited by you and come after you
Maybe they could spend that $6 million they give the CEO on a lawyer
Doesnt help any of us that the democratic party's geriatric make-a-wish foundation leadership is actively trying to make the party more right leaning to win back the donors they lost after pushing kamala because they think she was "too left"
"26 replies" but I cant see any of them because I have those kinds of idiots blocked
Brad Lander is a good candidate
If you do a 5 bit encoding (0-31) that's enough for the alphabet and numbers can overlap with letters like in braille, plus spaces. Thats around 1638 characters. Standard ascii is technically 7 bits and that would compress to 1170 characters without the initial 0
Mod was removed/acct deleted and the sub had no mod, so people started shitposting. New mod was appointed recently
No need to limit it to today either. This is my plan going forward. Cash only, mom & pop shops.

w_s = 2 * pi * f_s

since you need to sample at 2x or more the highest desired frequency to get proper reproduction, it should be
w>(1/2)w_s
w > (1/2) w_s
w > (1/2) 2 pi f_s
w > pi f_s
I,already have then tagged as a troll. Its usually the same people over and over again.
Ladybird is open source by the SerenityOS team but it is pre-alpha so it will be years before it is usable for most people
Dogs cant differentiate red and green because they only have two types of color receptors (cones). Theyd percieve it similar to someone who is red-green colorblind.
Not owning a branch of government has never stopped republicans. They would rather get dragged out kicking and screaming. Democratic politicians have largely abandoned their voting base and claim their hands are tied and there's nothing they can do, because they are too used to being able to just skate on through without much experience fighting from a disadvantage.
They can do things like organizing their voter base to fight back in constructive ways and pass local legislation, unify the party on voting for certain politicians, inform their voters about special elections, bills and places they can help out, push a more populist and or progressive agenda, and stop fucking abandoning and lying to their own voter base. They need to be willing to physically lead their constituents
Republicans are so cohesively brainwashed because the republicans have been targeting media and disinformation for decades. They organize extremely well at the local level, and are willing to do almost anything for power.
The democrats need to show equal fervor for defending democracy and they've just been cowards so far, telling people to just vote and tell their family to vote democrats, essentially telling us, "we cant do anything so its your problem and responsibility now"
ETA: democrats had 4 years to plan and time to come up with a response to Project 2025. Its weird to me everyone just took "oh its not trumps plan" at face value.
Dems can take the House back in 60 days
If we can create a tie, democrats could block any legislation going through the house, and flipping any one republican congressman could potentially allow them to get legislation through the house.

Blight Resistant American Chestnut Trees
Now available: ArcheWild American Chestnut seedlings. Contact us to get on the waitlist, or learn more about proper care and habitat.

The American Chestnut was nearly wiped out in the US due to chestnut blight introduced by imported Japanese chestnut trees. Researchers have pursued two main avenues for repopulating the American Chestnut: direct genetic modification / engineering (above link) and cross breeding with Chinese Chestnuts (blight resistant) then re-breeding the result back with American chestnuts. This is to hopefully keep it as close to American chestnuts while also gaining blight resistance.
I've never had chestnuts, even though it used to be one of Eastern Americas most populous trees. I was hoping I could get some and plant them around here and there but we aren't to the point that they're commercially available yet (though available by request)
