  • Capability? China has the world's largest military. They have the largest Naval fleet. China is and has been an expansionist power through its history. Their current aim is to restore Chinese pride and put China at its rightful place as the center of the universe. Any part they claim as theirs they are using those military assets to assert their claim, like the islands in Southeast Asian waters far away from their shores. This is the same attitude that allowed Russia to invade Ukraine twice.

Italy shocks banks with 40% windfall tax for 2023 | Reuters
  • I will remind you that Italy has a CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT. I wish Cons would follow their example. I wish our LIBERAL government would have half the brains to do this. We need to do this with our banks, grocery chains, airlines and oil companies.

  • Canada is WAY WAY BEHIND in the MVNO game. It is RIDICULOUS that it's taken THIS LONG for CRTC to implement what is already common everywhere else in the world. Honestly, CRTC is there to protect the telecom monopolies, NOT the Canadian consumers.
