haha I took this screenshot just before I upgraded my system, 64GB now and a 7950X
really cool! you mentioned religious discontent was a reason for some clashes in Angaran society; do they have any clothing or accessories that relate to these religions?
air con cafés
hey guys, just welcome over from the Oxford reddit (i'm guessing that's where most people here have come from). J just wanted to hear about your favourite cafés with good air conditioning to help beat the recent heat waves!
awesome, the pack i was looking at (BigChadGuys plus, idk why its called that) had a focus on pixelmon. Haven’t played pixelmon since it’s early days, excited to see where it’s at now!
i’ve never tried Prism launcher, is it easy to use packs from curseforge? i guess i could always just install the pack in curseforge and copy the mods folder over?
anybody with a deck tried modded minecraft? if i get one and it works i’ll probably end up having another one of those month-long minecraft phases haha
ohh okay, my friend told me it wasn’t MMO but I understand what he meant with the party instancing thing you mentioned. Looking forward to it!
ahhh I’m loving this game so much, only managed to get 30hrs so far as I’m in the middle of exams but I just know I’ll have 200+ as soon as I finish haha
had a friend recommend me to get this so we could play over summer, have you tried the multiplayer?
i switched to linux so that i could customise everything, so ubuntu and manjaro (the first two i used) didn’t really do anything for me. After using a macbook for a bit (still my primary laptop), I found Arch which i now daily drive and love it!
the two i plan on starting this summer are pokemon glazed and pokemon reborn - going in blind, these are just what i’ve been told by friends are the best
idk about gnome but this sounds like you should look into tiling window managers
yeah from what i’ve heard most of them pretty much skip the whole tutorial as anybody playing a romhack has almost certainly played another pokemon game first
awesome! i was just thinking about a ttrpg community
Energylandia - anyone been?
Personally, I’m not super into amusement parks (I haven’t been since i was young) but a friend has told me about Energylandia in Poland, supposedly one of the best in the world. We’ve been planning a few weekend trips for this summer and I wanted to know if anybody here has been? Worth the trip (I’m coming from the UK), and any standout rides? Any other tips?
as somebody consdering buying a steamdeck, have you tried emulation at all? I’ve been using a RG35XX atm but it’s quite low power and as a result can only really handle GBA/SNES games - I’d love to play some Wii and DS games on the go.
I haven’t been able to play loads due to exams, but I’m just finishing the last temple now. The colgera (temple of wind) fight has been my favourite so far - definitely not the hardest but its just so satisfying and fun.
I’m just replaying gens 1-5 over and over. I’ve had a few friends recommend RomHacks, and I’m thinking about trying some after finals.
yeah, I mean I’m using a 2060 and still able to play most games at 4k. I’m not playing super hi spec modern games too often, but even those I seem to be able to do at 30fps or just run at 1080p.
Desktop: Dual boot, Arch Linux / Windows 10 (cba to do the BIOS thing to update to windows 11) for games, FL studio and photoshop
Laptop: MacOS
