Valve fails to get out of paying its EU geo-blocking fine
  • Yes, this will just mean that game publishers will set one price for the whole EU which will be based on the income in the richest countries. They can still geoblock countries outside of the EU, just not within it.

  • [Question] If using linux , where are your sources of games and what are cs.rin.ru clean steam files and how to use them?
  • You will find it very difficult to get help with game piracy on linux just because the community is very small. If the game has a native release it will be even harder since most linux users want to support developers that do native releases. I've only ever tried a couple games that I had no problems with and that was a few years ago. These days if it has a native release I will always just buy it.

  • My tips as a new player
  • It can be good to upgrade anything 1 to 3 times if that brings it into the next tier. If you have an item that is has a level of 620 for example, it is a tier 4 item and upgrading it once to 625 will make it tier 5. You will get plenty of the mats for 1-3 upgrades, its the 4th and 5th upgrades that need rarer mats.

  • Seeing adverts in trending communities

It seems like there are now bots creating communities so that they appear in trending communities.

Saw both of these just now... [email protected] [email protected]

    Fuck nvidia.
  • The vast majority of nvidia system breakage complaints I see seem to come from users of Ubuntu or it's derivatives. I've been on arch based distros for 6 years now and every pc or laptop I've owned in that time has been nvidia and I have never had any problems.

  • GPT-4 is getting worse over time, not better.
  • It will just make up 3rd party libraries. This seems to happen more often the less common the programming language is, like it will make up a library in that language that has the same name as actual library in Python.
