Name something irrational that can instantly make you desire someone (i.e. not generic looks, personality or obviously sexual features)...
  • A couple of things come to mind, but one of the biggest is when they aren't afraid to geek out about their thing. I meet someone very into...idk model trains, and seeing their enthusiasm about it will definitely start to make me more interested in them. It won't necessarily attract me on its own but it can be the thing that pushes me over the edge. In hindsight this might be why I keep hooking up with the neurospicy crowd without intending to.

    Girls wearing "boy" clothes.

Boys wearing weather inappropriate basketball shorts. Doubly so with skate type shoes (Vans, Fallen, Etnies, etc). Idk maybe my ideal male style is stuck in 2007.

Just generally people cooler than me, which isnt a high bar to clear lol.

  • Does scent do anything for you?
  • I meant to circle back around to this but that's fascinating. It's totally possible some of the people I've noticed a scent on have been wearing some kind of fragrance. I'm so used to them being overbearing or chemically that maybe I've missed some really subtle ones.

Now that you've defined laundry musk too, I have definitely smelled that before. I'd have said it was a little...antiseptic, maybe? Almost like a hospital but not quite.

Hmm, now I should research some of these. Do you know od anything that kind of mimics or accentuates a sort of stereotypical subtle body odor? Nothing overbearing, but like you said, wears down.

  • Body hair
  • Ugh yes, hair on hair does feel nice. And that sensation of deep throating until your nose is buried in their pubes.

Idk, just reminds me that humans are hairy, sweaty, musky, sexy animals. It sounds weird to type it out like that but that shit makes me feral lmao.

  • Body hair
  • That was kind of my question: Why? I understand doing it for personal comfort, but I've never understood how shaving became an expectation of mainstream beauty standards, especially for women. Just let people have their own standards, you know?

Agree with you that stubble sucks though, it's like the worst of both worlds lol. Also doesn't it get itchy? When I was 16 or 17 growing belly hair for the first time I tried shaving it and it was awful, never done it since. The stubble just ruined me.

  • Body hair
  • It's a totally valid preference to have, especially considering the sensory angle (hair on the tongue, as you mentioned). I didn't consider asking about hair on one's own body, but yeah if you like the feeling of being clean shaven yourself, that probably informs the preference as well. Interesting to think about!
