Take all the break you need for sure! But honestly time won’t help much with selection bias. More people will vote sure, but those more people still probably only found the vote because they came back to Reddit and therefore wouldn’t be of the mind to continue the shutdown.
Eh that poll was always going to go that way due to selection bias. Folks who would vote to keep it shut down didn’t even see the initial post, because they’re the same folks boycotting Reddit.
Fantastic recommendation, will look into these! Never heard of OvvO.
Not aware of any guides, but the most complete resource seems to be the lemmy-js-client repo, specifically the docs for LemmyWebsocket.
Never played the first but the combat and bosses seem soulslike, is that the case for the rest of the game too?
Trust of federated servers isn’t the issue. We already trust federated servers to publish the text we wrote and not some alternative version the owner wanted us to say.
The problem is instance owners don’t even have the option to obey deletion requests. They want to help delete your content but they cannot.
The whole “what’s the point of building it if there’s a possibility one dude doesn’t obey the request” is whataboutism.
It's hard to know which parts are autism and which aren't. I'm not even sure the question has an answer. I'd love to stop the bad parts like meltdowns and shutdowns and sensory hypersensitivity.
But which of my good parts are autism, and which are me? Would I change my interests, careers, social circles? It's hard to know. If it's a coin toss for each I'd probably not take the risk.
