The fire bombing of Tokyo killed more people than either of the atomic bombs. I don't pretend to know the right decision about the Bombs, but I know the casualty estimates for Operation Downfall included 400,000 US deaths and 5,000,000 Japanese deaths. I think I would have been hard-pressed not to make the same decision, whether it was right or wrong.

I just watched The Silo with Rebecca Ferguson and I liked it so much I picked up the book series. If you ever played any of the Fallout games, it basically follows a nuclear shelter/vault type thing who has forgotten why they went underground. Pretty good so far!

Just finished my second play through a couple weeks ago, what an incredibly unique game. The balance system almost felt like a rhythm game to me, really makes me hope it inspires other similar games. This was my first time on directors cut, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of bonus content. Definitely worth playing if it ever goes on a big sale or gamepass.
Yeah there's even very popular examples in recent history, the Lego movie series to name one. I haven't seen them, but I think the general consensus about them is positive. Hopefully studios look to this and see the the success in the vision of the film maker and the statement of the art, rather than in the commercial name recognition from a popular toy.

Uncut Gems is a two hour and fifteen minute panic attack imo. Very well written/performed/directed though, it earned its 91 on metacritic
Okay awesome, that's even better than I thought. I had a friend showing it to me last night, I was thinking about trying it out today. I run a 12th gen I9 and a 2080TI, I assume I would probably get better performance on my gpu right?
Check out Llama ccp sometime, it's foss and you can run it without too crazy system requirements. There are different sets of parameters you can use for it, I think the 13 billion parameters set is only like 25 gigs. Definitely nowhere near as good as gpt, but still fun and hopefully will improve in the future.
