Duty to Warn Letter Regarding Hacking of 2024 Election
  • It takes this long to count stuff and get detailed information

Just kinda how it is with the size of this shit

  • Anon questions our energy sector
  • these rocks are long terms with the consequences on humans and the environment thousands of years later.

You bury them in concrete, done. Nuclear waste isn't an issue and hasn't ever been

  • Asking the real questions
  • Blank spaces arent characters by definition as they're the space that allows the letters to exist

  • Men of Lemmy, how old were you when you found out that bra cup sizes are not standardized in the slightest?
  • But even I would want something new,

They're new shoes, not my old ratty ones

What can I say I found out at 14 that all-blacked converse hi-tops look good on me and so why bother changing

  • Opt out
  • Our laws aren't amazing, I'll grant them that an annoying amount of them are for show only, but those kinds of guys don't actually know what the law is here, they just assume shit because we're a liberal state that is known to have gun laws

I've unironically seen people that are into guns at that same level claim you cant buy an AR-15 here and meant it, which is patently ridiculous

  • What would 10 year old you be the most surprised about you now?
  • But then would have been disappointed in me for not having made a video game yet.

That's me NOW, too! Maybe if enough of us get together we can cobble something together to appease our childhood selves

  • What would 10 year old you be the most surprised about you now?
  • The girl 10 yo me was hanging out with all the time, very much thought I was going to marry (she did too) and eventually took my virginity a few years later is now an incredibly handsome man with a wife and kids

Its probably that, honestly. Maybe that I've spent a month and a half of my life in Japan so far, that's p wild for a 20 year old and I'd never have even considered it then

  • Helpful map of the USA
  • That actually tracks

Look at the "mean" spots: summers get over 110-120 in a lot of those places

Seem and are mean is the SW, where we keep death valley

You KNOW people are bigger assholes when it's hot. We ALL do

  • "Now you two will be cooperative members of this defensive alliance or SO HELP ME..."
  • Oh so this is where that category of porn comes from

  • What do app you use to plan out a road trip? And how accurate are they?
  • My only other method has been traditionally to use Google maps' "search on the way" feature while also letting it know I drive an EV, it's actually really good at knowing what chargers and connector types are where, and if it's in the EVGO (maybe also Electrify America, can't remember) network you can actually see the number available ahead of time

ABRP will automatically do all of the "where is an open charger with my connector" for you, as well as help estimate the range of your vehicle, adapting as you drive and update it. I used it for a couple of years before I got used to how my car worked, now I do the planning myself because it's worth saving the cash with how infrequently I use the app

Basically it comes down to the questions: do you confidently know about how far you can drive in your current vehicle & do you want to find chargers ahead of time manually or make an app do it?

  • What do app you use to plan out a road trip? And how accurate are they?
  • A Better Route Planner if you're unwilling to use Google Maps and do some math

  • I don't know how to say this to you...
  • He did

As a standalone word it's Shire as we say it, but put it at the end of a word and you pronounce it differently

    Lancashire is lanka-sheer, for example

  • Never throw them out
  • Your guys' box isn't full of HDMI and USB mini/micro?

Oh and I have 150ft of coax, don't ask why, I don't fucking remember

  • Has Fast Food Gotten Worse, or Am I Just Getting Old?
  • 29 and it's worse now

I used to actively enjoy Carl's Jr, they made good burgers, especially for a fast food place

Starting 2022ish they started all tasting.... Bland? Like no matter what's put on it there's a never-ending bland flavorless ness underneath it all and it sucks

Basically everywhere else too but that's the one I noticed

  • Joy
  • Grandpa fought in WWI, lost an eye in the Pacific

I turn 29 in a few months, I'm not even the youngest of my generation in my family to call him grandpa, that person's 8

  • Bluesky outage double feature, part 1
  • (and db0 for the fun stuff, gosh)

  • Opt out
  • Tell me you don't live here (or know someone who does) without directly saying it

I've seen mounted MGs in the mountains, my guy, you don't know what's actually here and in the hands of some CRAZY leftists. I know 2 different people who have offered me very illegal arms should shit ever hit the fan, one of them owns a functional truck they just need to slide a tripod into the back into some homemade brackets and they can have a mounted MG truck in like 10m

Fuck, I've seen an actual RPG get shot (that was wild)

  • FDA employees consider how to handle RFK Jr., including leaving
  • What, you're not willing to traumatize (or for those of us who have already had to fight evil from an incompetent boss RELIVE our trauma) yourself for the 5 minutes of delay it'll earn? What a coward you must be!

  • What are the "AK-47" of items? (cheap, durable, just works)
  • French press is basically the same work as a drip machine, but a different shape. You just heat the water seperately and then pour it and the coffee into the French press, let it sit, press the plunger down, and pour. Actually takes slightly less time than any cheap dropper I've used and runs 0 risk of burning the coffee (drip machines like to put heating elements into their bases to keep the pot hot, this can burn the coffee and ruin the flavor, French presses cannot burn coffee because they cannot add heat)

Espresso is finely ground coffee that uses steam pressure to brew (thus why espresso machines are fucking expensive, my mr coffee unit was 80 buck), it's an involved process (worth learning gif you've got 20m to make a cup of coffee every time) but very good if you use beans you like AND you like your coffee flavor strong
