You heard #Adobe. Deep down you knew this was coming. Now all your art are belong to them. Time to move on to better things...
  • @Burn_The_Right REAPER doesn't fit into a Kreative type suite. (Also whatever options it may have for wave editing are minimal compared to Audition, but of course QTractor's would be even less...)

  • The Adwaita Icon Theme no longer follows the FDO icon naming spec breaking KDE applications on Fedora 40 Workstation and Co.
  • @imecth @cullmann @ohyran @UnityDevice @domi @boredsquirrel @Plopp @soupermkc @minecraftchest1 True, that tray could use more color, and it's a shame that KDE doesn't surface a functioning UI for setting their size (not in the current *buntu anyway).

  • Falkon Browser Privacy Hardening
  • @Bro666 there was a 1980s software millionaire whose web site's links wouldn't work right with Konqueror because his link-decoration code violated the DTD spec, relying on Firefox's quirks mode. I pointed this out via email and his response was "My code is correct and no one uses Konqueror any more and it's garbage anyway!" — at roughly the very moment Apple swallowed KHTML.

  • Why wait for Microsoft to catch up with what we've been doing for decades?
  • @Bro666 (pause to momentarily reboot into Neon) Also there seems to be no way to set the CPU frequency policy in power management.

  • @Bro666 I wish Plasma had a panel that could fit this much utility into this little space. (Note also the stacked panel that Plasma does not support.) I also wish I didn't have to keep deleting org.kde.dolphin.FileManager1.service so KFind will stop opening things in Dolphin.

  • @[email protected] @[email protected] I'm still waiting for a fully functional replacement for KDE 3.5.10. 😞
