Is downloading videos possible?
Every now and then I want to download some video I see in Lemmy to share with my friends but I click in download video but it seems to not work. Is it possible to download videos using Voyager?

If all the devices are in the same network you should be able to stream content even without internet. I had to wait for 5 days to my ISP set up my internet on my new address and I watched my jellyfin library in the meantime with no problems.
DE é gosto..eu uso xfce faz um ano já.. Saí do gnome pela falta de customização e pelo peso..QS extensões são pesadas e agreagam pouco. No final do dia eu só quero que o DE funcione e seja leve.
Oh.. It's not always that I need to sync the subtitles because in most cases bazarr gets the best subtitle but eventually even the SRT with the best score still has it a little off sync..It is good to see if the video is being transcoded too. I hope they implement it back soon.. Thanks!

No video settings on Android TV app
Hey guys, I was using a webos client until recently and I used to adjust the subtitles when they were slightly out of sync using the settings on the video player. Now I'm using a Android Tv client (new tv) and there is no settings icon to do that or to look at the video properties. On my phone the icon is there and on the web version on my laptop too. Did I mess with some menu settings or something or there is no settings on the Android Tv app?
I have the same situation.. Only external subtitles load..I have the same guess that is my potato server's fault. Now I just use external subtitles from bazarr
I don't know if this would fit your needs but I just have a wireguard server and when I travel I just connect to my VPN from my phone and start my access point ..then all the other devices will be connected to my VPN through the phone access point (there is an option to let clients use VPN in access point settings) and watch jellyfin. For me this is the simplest and cheapest option I found.
Are you using a custom ROM? I couldn't cast anything after installing lineage with microg on my phone. Maybe it's something related to google services.
Wait, you mean you need an app to listen to music in a Bluetooth earphone? It's not just connect it to your phone via Bluetooth? I don't usually use phones but I have some Chinese cheap phone I use sometimes that I just connect to my phone and that's it.
Como vc está usando o DNS? Pode ser que seu roteador esteja ignorando o servidor DNS que vc colocou nas configurações dele. Tem que ver o caminho que a requisição percorre.
I've never been to a lan party..some of my friends used to go to lan houses (I don't know the English name for it but maybe cybercafes) to play Counter Strike, but not me..my favorite memory while playing games was when I finally realized I was above average on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Me and my friends used to skateboard and we played THPS just to watch the character's movie after completing all the levels. I was finally good at something, never had been good at videogames, that felt amazing! Completing some levels in one ride and being praised by it, oh the good old days.
I've tried and could not use none of them without the website requesting the app to login or to verify the transactions

Hey guys, it's pretty much the tittle. I've been using Lineage with microg for a year now and despite using the majority of FOSS apps in my routine I still feel like I have to struggle to preserve my privacy and keep Google away from my data. Do you guys feel the same sometimes?
Every time I have to use a banking app is a pain ..I kept changing banks to the ones who I could use with Magisk but every app update breaks my setup and I have to find a workaround or change to another app. I just quit using banking apps and passed them all to the wife.Now even home brokers have been blocking me asking to use a "official android version"
Today even a government app we must use to get access to services and information started complaining about my play store.
I self host a nextcloud service on my old desktop that serves as a server but every now and then the updates crash something. Sharing calendar and notes is too complicated if you don't have a vps or a domain. I keep getting complains from the wife about how come I just don't use google keep and Google drive anymore.
After a year I'm starting to think that maybe my data is not worth the hassle just to keep big tech out of my digital life.. I guess Big Brother wins
What do you say? Am I too lazy or it is unpractical to stay away from big tech?

Depois de muitos anos de streaming voltei pro alto mar, especialmente pela frustração que serviços como a Disney trouxeram..esperei ansiosamente pra ver os curtas clássicos que passavam na globo mas a Disney cagou e não adicionou no catálogo Brasil. Estou com uma arr stack rodando mas to com dificuldades pra encontrar desenhos dublados, especialmente os antigos como os curtas clássicos da Disney. Quando o prowlarr ou sonarr acham o torrent não tem seeders..Alguém tem ideia se private trackers ou usenet seriam melhores pra esse tipo de mídia? Se sim, qual vcs indicariam?
Video Quotas in peertube instances
Hey I was trying peertube recently and signed up to a specific instance ..then yesterday I recorded a video and decided to upload to peertube but I found out that I have 0 quota in that instance.. I tried to find if this quota info is somewhere in the peertube instances page but had no luck. Is there any instance that give me some quota on their disk or do I have to run my own instance to host my videos?
Best way to set up docker containers that depend on other container
Hi guys! I have several docker containers running on my home server set up with separated compose files for each of them, including a Pihole one that serves as my home DNS. I created a network for it and a fixed IP but I couldn't find a way to set fixed IPs to the other containers that use the Pihole network. Well everything works but every now and then I have problems because the Pihole cant start first and grab the fixed IP and some other container gets its IP so nothing works because everything depends on the Pihole to work. My Pihole compose is like this:

My Jellyfin container as an example is like this:

I read the documentation about setting fixed IP but all I got was using one single compose file and with 12 containers that seems like a messy solution.. I couldn't set fixed IPs with different compose files. Do you guys have any suggestion about it?
