  • If I'm understanding my Google search correctly it would actually be planetary system since they were looking a planet in an nothing system. I think by definition star systems don't include planets.

  • A picture speaks more than enough words
  • I was talking about this recently with a coworker but I remember a modern marvels episode on the History Channel many many years ago that was talking about California experiments with highways for self driving cars. S

o they were embedding magnets into the ground and the cars had sensors to follow those and them they would pack drive like 10 cars nose to tail. This is what I've always expected from self driving cars. It wild were going to direction we are with them but getting any local/state/federal government to pay to add shit to roads is probably a long shot.

  • Fun fact about tamigotchis, a couple years ago I was looking up if they still made them and I ran across something talking about the tech in modern versions and apparently the newest version of them at the time was running a variant of the MOS6502 microprocessor. This is the same microprocessor that Commodore used a variant of in the Commodore 64.

  • Texas GOP platform calls for ban on same-sex parenting because being gay is "abnormal"

Abnormal - deviating from what is normal or usual, typically in a way that is undesirable or Worrying.

Texas has a population of 30.03 million people or just 0.4% of the world population that means normally 99.6% of the worlds population live outside of Texas and this is concerning because these 30 million people could live literally anywhere else and just they stay in Texas, this is abnormal.
