Thank you for this comparison! Tell me, where is the Esc key on the KA360? I've looked at the photographs, but not found it! Surely other VIM users use Kinesis keyboards.
That was an amazing video. The simulations and engineering cutaways get better every episode, but this time I was blown away. Great job Zach!
Israel is far less theocratic than the United Kingdom, where the head of State is also the head of Church. And she's actually a descendant of Muhammad too! I could mention quite a few other "esteemed" theocracies, from Iran to (arguably) the United States (Christmas is a government holiday). Any definition of "Theocracy" that includes Israel, will include the majority of the Western world.
As for being an ethnostate, Israel is far less of an ethnostate than any other middle eastern country with possibly the exception of Lebanon depending on how you'd like to frame Lebanese law requiring certain government positions to be held by people of certain ethnicities. And any definition of "ethnostate" that includes Israel will include Belgium, Latvia, Estonia, and Ireland as well, at a minimum.
The teen was not shot for "violating traffic laws". The teen was shot for disobeying a direct, lawful order of a police officer to stop his vehicle.
I do not know what the intention of the "news" organization is, but it is clearly inflammatory.
My daughter was born at 22:30 on December 31. In Korea she would have been considered 2 years old when she was born less than 2 hours previously.
like the simulations on the news show
Why would you put any faith in a simulation by an organization that has no knowledge of the domain?
Wait, what? That's x-do as in "x do something"? I never realized that. Thanks.
Well then you'll be glad to visit, because that narrative is easy to dispel. Especially considering the topic of this post is visiting Turkey of all intolerant places.
Come to Israel. We respect everybody. Yes, even the people that the news tries to make you think that we hate. The vast majority of us don't.
What is showing its age on your v60? I still use, and recommend, a Samsung Note 10 Lite. It has a headphone jack and that terrific stylus built in. It's on Android 12 and has no lagginess issues that even new phones have. There is an Android 13 update too, but I have not updated yet.
Ship 25 static fire: watch the plume change from sea-level Raptors to RVacs.
Notice how the initial seal-level Raptors create a triangle-shaped plume. Then when the RVacs light, the triangle changes direction. What a nice demonstration of the engine geometry, I've never seen something like this on any other rocket.
I started suffering mouth ulcers shortly after independently discovering that the kiwi skin is edible. It took some time to figure out what the cause was, because the sores would develop days after eating them.
Do any phones support USI? Is the official list up to date?
Wacom-style stylus is a must for me. I've been using Samsung Note devices since the Note 3 because it is such an essential feature. I really do not understand how it did not catch on.
I wonder if this will enable some launch abort scenarios as well.
Hot staging for Starship.
SpaceX is changing the approach for separating the two stages of its Starship vehicle to increase payload performance before its next test flight.
It seems that Starship is going further into N1 territory with proposed hot staging. Thus, the second stage will light without the Falcon-9 style pusher piston nor ullage motors.
The answer really depends on what do you not like about Ubuntu. I personally use Kubuntu, which after setting some settings is the ideal environment in my opinion. KDE on anything is great.
If you mention some of your peeves with Ubuntu, I might be able to make a better recommendation. Even Debian is a solid distro, it is what Ubuntu is based upon.
Will start to test Debian stable.
This is a smart move.
Debians make for very good servers, I've been using Debian servers since moving my desktop from Fedora (when it was still called Fedora Core) to Ubuntu. I don't regret it one bit. The community is excellent, and there is ample information available online without having to ask a new question.
What is supposedly rare about an RTLS landing?
Oh, reading TFA, I see that it is dated 2020. Though even in 2020, RTLS landings were not "rare".
For what it's worth, I am not going to use a service with an implied profanity in the name. I'll stay here, thank you.
