This is awesome! I loved that he pointed out the irony in car drivers complaining that closing the street would increase the amount of pollution because you know, they're soooo concerned about pollution.

Interesting read thanks. I know I've made up problems for myself to solve in the past because my actual task has been too boring
I'm rubbish at speaking fluently. If I had to try defending that the sun rises every day I'd still probably lose in a verbal debate. The fluency of someone's speach, or more often, how loudly they can talk over someone is not a reflection of the strength and quality of their arguments.
I'm using connect for lemmy. Not 100% the same, but good enough. If you're patient you could wait for boost.
