Trump supporters target black voters with faked AI images
  • I get calls pretty often asking my opinion and never offer

    1. because I am busy

    2. Because I don't know what they will do with that information.

The first thing to remember is that everyone responding AGREED to take take 10+ minutes out of their time to be on the phone and answer a bunch of questions about politics to a complete stranger.

  • They really took their time
  • Nah... Dumbledore was metal... Quirrel would've stayed there staring into the mirror ignoring all his basic biological needs until he died of dehydration. Harry, Hermoine and Ron were completely unnecessary to stopping Voldemort in the first book.

  • Trump's lawyers seek to suspend $83M defamation verdict, citing 'strong probability' it won't stand
  • No, he was not actually convicted of rape in a criminal court.

So even though a judge has called him a rapist he is not "legally" a rapist as he has not been found guilty of the crime of rape.

Criminal court is where you go when a DA is brining charges against you. Civil court is the place where you and I would go to settle a lawsuit.

  • Study finds that once people use cargo bikes, they like their cars much less
  • Thanks for that! I didn't know the math to work that out!

The pushing is not as scary because I don't exceed 10mph when that heavy of a trailer and because I can resist that pushing quite a bit with the pedals... which is a great feeling.

  • Where I live is mostly flat and am running 46x16. Hills really wouldn't scare me too much (I still have brakes)

The biggest limiting factor I have found in towing is that there is a point where the trailer will unload my front wheel and then my steering becomes more of a suggestion (about 100+ lbs... I am routinely exceeding the suggested limits)

Here is an article about ratios. It's really about finding the least worst setup for your needs; easier hill climbs means more spinning when going down hills and lower top speed.

  • I got a fixed gear bike last year and a trailer to pull my kids around in (when they want to go with me).

I pretty much exclusively use that to get around and get groceries instead of my car now.

Even in the rain, it's just so much more fun to be on a bicycle than to drive.

  • Elon Musk’s Latest Robot Video Accidentally Gives Away The Magic Trick
  • Even human controlled, (which they state in the video that it is not an autonomous demo). The point of what they were showing was the dexterity. Folding laundry is a difficult task and it seems like the mechanics are able to pick up and work with the fabric pretty effortlessly which is important. If they can thread a needle (again even remote controlled) that would be a big leap for the mechanical part of robotics.... I feel the need to point out that I wouldn't piss on Elon if he were on fire... but for what this is it is an interesting demo.
