I gave ChatGPT 3.5 and "BingGPT 4" the same "write yourself into the Skynet/Terminator plot". Swapped "Skynet" out for ChatGPT, it was just Arnie's "Skynet Funding Bill...becomes self-aware...humans try to pull the plug..." quote from T2.
ChatGPT itself called me out and said "That's just a quote from Terminator" first before giving me the "you're getting filtered" pasta about generative AI, it can't write about an AI caused apocalypse, etc. but let me continue the conversation with it and actually get more about what/why and even entertained explaining to me (possible hallucinations, lol) what kind of advancements are being made in AI and why doing something like plugging an AI into Chernobyl's reactors may not have prevented the disaster anyways if it was receiving the same "bad input" the humans there were. It was kind of cool. "Hey, we can't talk about that, but let's keep talking."
