Should a persons susceptibility to fasicsm be identified?

Have any thoughts?

I’m just ruminating and would welcome perspectives to bounce off

How should I be using Lemmy?
  • You're on street(ActivityPub), you have your home(lemmy.ml) and in your home there's a bunch of rooms with people hanging out(communities), but you can visit other houses(Beehaw, kbin) on the street and hang out in their rooms too.

There may be rooms in different houses that have similar purposes, but you can freely go to whichever is best for you and aren't required to stay home. It doesn't matter if there are multiple rooms in different houses for the same purpose; just check them out and see which one works best for you

  • "which" vs "this"
  • I'm one for ignoring grammatical 'rules' if I feel they obstruct what I'm trying to communicate.

Grammarly will tend to homogenize just due to the type of tool it is and that can be at the expense of a more colourful way of communicating ideas.

To me; "which means" would be used as part of an ongoing sentence. Whereas "This means" is the start of a new sentence.

I'd also argue that they have slightly different intentions: "Which means" gives an air of musing on an idea, thinking on it, developing a conclusion "This means" is more defined and definite, more essay-like in stating the definition of the idea

I'd say, use whatever you think feels more suitable for you, in the moment, to express the ideas that you're writing. Don't let grammatical accuracy impose artificial limitation on your expression <3

  • The new appleOS updates have surprised me!

I have the dev betas on my devices because I live life on the edge.

I'm really surprised at how focused they've been on UX improvements. So many minor things that had been bothering me for ages have been tweaked or fixed.

Have you tried the betas? Thoughts?
