    Did you get a GMK67 with plastic on the PCB? Don't remove it! With some simple steps, you can use it to vastly improve the default sound profile of the keyboard as it appears to be either PET or LDPE

    We have low profile machanical keyboards. Why don't companies make low profile mechanical numpads?

  • Good question. I've only seen low profile membrane/scissor switch types, but no low profile. I'll ask NuPhy what they think about it.

    I am looking into building myself my first real keyboard, a gmk67. What are the must have mods when building it?

  • A lot depends on what you tone you are aiming for, but tuning the stabs and tempest tape mod is always guaranteed to bring more life to the default sound. You'll also want to test with and without the iPXE sheet as it can mute the sound of switches some.
