Tetris® Forever – Announcement Trailer
  • My favorite puzzle game of all time, but it's not really Tetris.

  • How do I flush this?
  • Both buttons for a toilet clogging doo doo

  • Under an air burst nuke
  • I never saw anything but two dinos.

  • Austin’s Ready To Rumble on ‘Crashy Cameron’ and ‘Deathtrap Dessau’ Roads – TOWERS
  • Fuck yes, that road has needed an improvement / speed limit reduction for a long time now, especially the stretch just south of Parmer where the speed limit is a very high 50 MPH (people will drive much faster than that). A bunch of apartments were built there in the past 5 years but the road wasn't modified to offer a protected way to turn into/out of them across potentially 3-6 lanes of traffic.

  • Rage (Xbox360)
  • As far as I'm concerned, RAGE is a modern game. It even looks and plays like a modern game, so it can't really be retro.

To call it retro is like saying League of Legends is retro because it came out in 2009.

  • Don't you all get tired of the constant negativity?
  • It's worse than eating fast food everyday lol

  • New life hack
  • Babe, let's play Stardew Valley IRL like omg

  • Looks like most people didn't care enough for VIII, huh?

  • Analogue's Nightmare: This FPGA Game Boy is Half the Price
  • What do you use as your controller? I got an Anbernic handheld now but I've always been curious/intrigued by just running them on a phone, I just never quite found any of the control methods quite satisfactory.

  • What's OIC?

  • 'Great' games I didn't play this year due to requirements
  • Weird, the K4's latest bios supports Vermeer, but perhaps not the X3D CPUs? But if so, even a 5600 would be an acceptable and pretty cheap upgrade over a 2600.

  • 'Great' games I didn't play this year due to requirements
  • Which mobo do you have? Most of them got bios updates to support Ryzen 5000, even old B350s and some A320s.

  • Rule
  • It's made of meat?

  • I've had more conversations about this than I care to count.
  • Same about how I eat meat lmao

  • Story of Cruz
  • It is about the weapon. If someone wanted to inflict a lot of damage, they would use bombs. That has happened several times in the past but doesn't compare to the number of mass shootings. Why? Because guns are simply just plentiful and easy to get, and too many apologetics keep allowing them to be plentiful. It really is that simple. Yes it doesn't fix society's underlying issues but that is a MUCH harder problem to solve than simply getting rid of (as many) guns (as possible), or at least not just allow so mamy people to own them willy nilly.

The goal is to drastically reduce the number of innocent lives being taken ASAP, not to argue about weapons or social ills or all of this other nonsense.

  • Or even a kangaroo, those things can be scary af. Forget about anything bigger.

  • Where is Kevin?
  • If that's supposed to be a projected image, then it should be washed out af with the room being so lit up. The darkest colors should only be about as dark as the white wall behind it.

  • Intel doesn’t think that Arm CPUs will make a dent in the laptop market
  • AFAIK they're large chips though, and larger generally is more performance but also much more expensive to manufacture.

  • Intel doesn’t think that Arm CPUs will make a dent in the laptop market
  • Wouldn't adding a bunch of extra features to an ARM CPU make it become less power efficient and more like x86?

I've heard that ARM isn't inherently more power efficient in some special way over x86, x86 has just been around so long and has had so many extra instructions added to it over the years, but that's what allows it to do so much / be so performant. If you took an ARM CPU and did the same you'd have roughly the same performance/watt.

  • Chrono Cross and Trigger arrangement: "Lost Orphan"

soundcloud.com "Lost Orphan" WIP (Chrono Cross & Chrono Trigger "Burning Orphanage" & "Silent Light" arrangement)

Chrono Cross "Burning Orphanage" and Chrono Trigger "Silent Light" progressive rock arrangement. This is an instrumental demo that I'm still contemplating adding vocals/lyrics to.

"Lost Orphan" WIP (Chrono Cross & Chrono Trigger "Burning Orphanage" & "Silent Light" arrangement)

I absolutely love the Chrono series, and just replayed Chrono Cross recently via the new "remaster".

While playing, I had a piano intro idea for the song, "Burning Orphanage", and decided to try working it into a full song. It eventually evolved into this, kind of a prog rock song with piano being the main driver, but there are electric guitar parts, organs, synths, mellotron choir, and rock drums. I also realized that I could smoothly transition into the song "Silent Light" from Chrono Trigger, so I incorporated that as the second, slower half.

The progression of the song is recounting Kid's trauma of surviving Lynx's attack on the orphanage (Burning Orphanage), but then feeling lost and alone after her escape (Silent Light) and eventually kind of finding peace but never forgetting.

The actual scene from the game is one of the most heart breaking and climactic events from the whole series, IMO, and I wanted to try giving it even a fraction of justice.

It's currently still a work in progress, as I'm still looking for bits here and there to polish up. My goal is to submit this to OCRemix, so if you have a listen, let me know what you think!
