I use inoreader, and I really enjoy it. I'm an academic researcher, but I don't use RSS feeds for reading papers as what I'm studying is generally very specific.

My personal struggle with all of these interesting decentralized protocols is the number of users. I can find the exact type of content I want on Reddit because of the massive amount of users.
Any threat to not being able to access all of the content in the fediverse is essentially, for me, to make the fediverse less worthwhile.
With the three instances you mentioned holding most of the content in the fediverse (I think?), I need an instance where I can access them all.
