sectional relations
Phenomenal
She's a lot more borderline on the issue than Biden. Her speech in December-ish was fairly critical of Israel's behavior up to that point and she called for a ceasefire pretty early on in comparison to others in the admin. She also normally would have presided over the speech Netanyahu gave this week, but chose not to. Is it enough? No, not really, but she's the VP and effectively a figurehead. I think it bodes well for at least a small shift in stance if she makes it in though. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Agreed, I would like to have seen some statements on Netanyahu's many falsehoods in the speech. That's not generally going to be done via press release though and I doubt she would overstep the current president on criticizing foreign leaders.
The question was centered on politics, so that's what I addressed. Harris is running a campaign, so she is also centered around politics right now. It sucks but it's how our world works right now.
So genuinely, how do you expect this to work? Am I supposed to just go upvote every dumb as shit opinion I read on the internet so everyone feels better?
They will be lightly affected by her denouncing some of the protestors (which is separate from supporting Israel and its genocide), yes. Remember that the Jewish voting bloc is also primarily democratic. If your concern is politics in this situation, it's a very fine line that Dem politicians have to walk here.
Edit: I'm just gonna back out of this thread. I'm not supportive of the genocide, but yall also don't want to have an actual conversation.
Why would his opinion not be subject to critique from the hundreds of people who use this site? Don't post if you don't want your opinions to be scrutinized by the forum you're posting in.
No, your children have an equal stake to yours. It gives you nothing.
I haven't looked but no way they're removing perks. They're too enmeshed into the game design.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this title. It's not clickbait and it accurately describes the content. You're just upset you got caught out saying reactive, incorrect things about a video you didn't watch.
It's nobody's fault but your own that you did not actually watch a video or read an article. Don't watch/read, don't comment. Easy. The title isn't deceptive just because it isn't a perfect TL;DR for lazy internet forum users.
Are you under the impression that people donate money to politicians as an investment? For some of us, our sights are on yknow... not letting our country slide into a fascist state. My personal wealth is not as important as that.
Hey, stop focusing so much on "I told ya so" to people who are definitely on your side. I was torn on it as well, but out of consideration for the potential impact being unknown. Hindsight is 20/20 and we're all better served by not gloating if we were right and instead focusing on the future path we are now on. Let's just keep it positive and build this victory through positivity instead of potential fractures with people who likely agree with you on the issues.
They didn't do one in this case, but I have heard stories of these sorts of malicious actors paying people stateside or elsewhere to take the video interviews. I've had to do ID checks on video in recent-ish interviews.
The first time, I was unfortunately still deep in the cult. I was on his side and then some. I was actually attending Falls Creek at the time. The second time, I met him in the Capitol as part of a large group and got to ask a few questions. Just wasn't an appropriate venue to air grievances given the context, which I'd rather not share too much about to avoid identifying myself. I was also only just barely getting out of the other side of my Christianity, so still did not have the faculties about me to even pinpoint my own grievances.
Ah, Senator Lankford. He ran a church camp for children for many years called Falls Creek and preached there often. I've actually shaken his hand twice, both before and after he became Senator. He's a dyed in the wool Christian and governs like it. This is also the same Senator who cowrote the bipartisan border bill that was tanked by Trump some months ago. To be clear, I'm not a fan. Just not surprised by this stance at all and figured some folks might like context.
Absolutely! There's always a tradeoff though and some segment of the gaming population will be turned off, which is fair. I personally love the lonely feeling of NMS.
As someone who felt the same for a long time, it's partially fixed but partially still that loop. They've added a lot of variety to that loop also with the last few updates. It definitely adds a bit of life, not so much on the emotion.
It's not fixing your pet issue, so it's doing nothing? Cool, great argument. It's like saying Doctors Without Borders didn't repeal Citizens United, so they're completely worthless. Genuine question, are you trolling? I would feel better for you if you were.
What was announced at the Xbox showcase that you're most excited for?
The first thread was fun, let's try again! And let's try to keep it positive, that's always a lot more fun to read.
Personally, the new Fable trailer was exciting and Clair Obscure was the most interesting new IP I saw.
What was announced at Summer Games Fest that you are most excited for?
Gotta be Civ 7 for me, but I'd love to see some other highlights shouted out by people who are excited for them!
MineColonies Pack Request
Hello! First, a huge shout out to the creator of this community for bringing over the old FTB community.
For my actual request, I am just looking to get some community input on the best modern mod pack that contains MineColonies. My partner loves playing for that mod and that mod only. I'm more of a kitchen-sink or progression-based player, so I'm just looking for whatever the new hotness™️ is.
Or, just give me your favorite pack newer than a year or so old, I'm just aiming to look around for the first time in a while.
