I’m curious what makes you say that. What evidence is there to support Marxism? Isn’t Marxism just communism? Just genuinely curious. I always thought that communism has been proven not to work multiple times throughout history. Not trying to say I think Capitalism is perfect. Yeah that’s a good point. I think the appeal of Jellyfin is it being an open source project.

Piracy is a service problem

This same sentiment is what’s driven me to pirating all the movies and tv shows I own. I want total control over the things I’ve bought and paid for with my money. I also think this is crucial for the preservation of media.

I really enjoy having Plex as my media server. It’s about the same amount of hassle as Emby, and there’s also Jellyfin which I haven’t dabbled into yet.

How does Kodi compare to Plex? Are there any features it has similar or different?

I believe that information and knowledge should be free anyways (at least in a perfect world), because that leads to the betterment of society. Also if you are able to use the knowledge you learn from the things you pirate I think you’ll be able to come back and support those things that got you to where you are.
