Trying out these apps is actually fun. Takes me back to the days I was searching for the perfect Reddit app
  • Aarrgghh. Got it. I thought I was missing an app for a moment!

Memmy is my go to at the moment. However all are showing a real rate of development and advancement that the developers amaze me.

It’s fun here. Long may it continue.

  • Version 0.2.0: Versioning (finally...), community links, swipe to collapse comments
  • That will be really welcomed. At least by me!

You have written a really good app. Even more impressive that it is a web app.

I saw someone else ask about hiding read posts. I would love a button that allows you to toggle hidden read posts on and off on the main timeline. It’s another thing Apollo did really well that I haven’t seen any Lemmy app do so far.

  • I might just be missing it but is there a way to change the text size across the app? If not is that on the list of features to add?

My aging eyes are struggling with small typE these days.

    Great work. Really impressive.

  • Any Mac / OpenCore users out there?
  • I have a 2011 Mac Mini i7 running OCLP and Monterey.

I have to say that it is pretty unstable. If I let if go to sleep it often will not wake up. If I force it to stay awake (I found an app to do that, can’t remember the name) then it often freezes and gets really hot.

I am at the stage of looking for a cheap M1 device although I do want dual monitors which makes that difficult.

  • Memmy 0.0.1.73 - Lots of Fixes, Font Slider, Haptic Adjustments, and Compact Settings
  • Superb update again. Most of my thoughts are already captured by others in this thread.

One for me is to hide read posts. I am hoping that is on the horizon. A toggle to show / hide whilst reading a timeline would be ideal.

  • Race week?
  • My thoughts…

Ferrari seem to think they are going in the right direction: BBC Report

    I’m not sure I agree.

Mercedes will see steady improvements but it will take time. I think I read that the next big upgrade is due for the GB race.

George is struggling a little under the weight of being Lewis’ teammate. He will get through it though. He’s too good not to.

Gladly needs a result after all of the ill-feeling between the drivers. I can’t see it happening though.

  • People around the world, do you drink tap water without boiling?
  • The hot water will be coming from a tank where it might have been for a while. All cold water taps are drawing straight from the mains and so are considered safe to drink.

  • Inbox issue

Hi. Great app. The rate of development and progress is superb.

I have one issue with the Inbox. I have one message listed and it always reports as unread. No matter what I do I cannot get it to show as read. Any ideas?

Test from IOS 17 Developer Beta 2
  • Works great on my iPhone 11 Pro running 17DB2 as well. No issues at all that I can see.

  • Notifications - a much needed feature
  • I totally agree. The app is shaping up really nicely and I can’t wait to see what you bring next.

    Great work. Really great.

  • how many of you have genuinely ditched reddit?
  • I’m there a little at the moment whilst my apps of choice (Apollo and ReddPlanet) are still operational. However it’s nothing g like it used to be (the blackout has worked from that regard) and I’m over here more often now.

  • Apollo should just ALSO post to Lemmy under the hood
  • I’m using Mlem as well. I’m interested in trying any apps to see what is out there. Right now this has a really nice feel about it. Definitely enough to get me started and more useful than the web app on my iPhone.
