[Meta] Did we drop the "what are you playing" monthly thread? Also, mods haven't been active for a while, should someone take over?
  • I've been having trouble focusing on a game and finishing it, but I've recently played God of War (2018) which was quite disappointing, and last week I've played Trails in the Sky which I enjoyed, except for

the incest, which was a bit weird

I've also been playing the original FFVII .

  • Steam Deckbuilders Fest
  • I searched around the room, completed few puzzles and I got the film roll (which I'm guessing is used to win the game, since the slime says to defeat "him"), but I'm not seeing anything else.

  • What's your build like? I have an i5 6600k and a GTX 1660. I have two displays one connected to the 1660 and the other to the iGPU, so I might have been accidentally using the latter. Wayland seems to not work even on my other PC with a single GPU (3060 ti) tho.

  • What part of a game you enjoy replaying do you dislike replaying?
  • For me it's dark souls after the lordvessel. The areas in that section are the worst part of the game IMO.

Also in dmc5 I hate having to play V's missions, luckily you can skip them with the mission select, but you still have to play through them at least once when unlocking a new difficulty.

I also recently replayed cyberpunk 2077 and while I did generally enjoy the game, the ending was a slog and I had to force myself to finish it.

  • Microsoft now thirstily injects a poll when you download Google Chrome - The Verge
  • Luckily on my actual work PC I can use whatever I want, but on other devices I'm forced to use Edge both because of restrictions on what I can install and because there's a lot of internal applications that still rely on vbscript.

  • Microsoft now thirstily injects a poll when you download Google Chrome - The Verge
  • I've used it at work since it often is the only installed browser and it feels like it's already infected by toolbars and other malware out of the box.

The new tab page reminds me of the weird ads you see at the bottom of tabloid websites.

  • The precision is impressive
  • That machine is impressive though. If it's a preprogrammed sequence that's great, but if it's got sensors to monitor and adapt on the fly its even more impressive.

These machines are usually made to test/learn control systems, so everything is controlled dynamically by a PID or some other controller.

  • Looking for OnePlus Nord 2 cover

Hi, I'm looking for a thin phone cover for my Nord 2. Most of the ones I've tried are bulky and sometimes change the shape of the phone in uncomfortable ways, but I still wanna use a cover to protect the phone, especially from falls.

Does anyone have tips on what I should try?

    Thanks
