I was almost tempted, but baaaah.
Not all who wander are lost, but some who wander stumble into the underdark and need reminding that what you can't see can still hurt you 😁
##Possible Spoiler Warning ## Waterdeep: Dragonheist--Stone of Golorr awakened
So, one of my characters failed successive wisdom saves as the Aboleth sought to dominate him. It took him over, leading to a slow realization as his behavior got more bizarre and the rest of the PCs caught on.
A decent sized tousle and subsequently subduing him in ropes saw him dropped before a priestess of Thor who tried to break the creature's hold. Multiple failed rolls later and he was motionless, the Aboleth's grasp firm. The priestess projected the rest of the 5 person party into the mind/spiritual realm of the afflicted where the group tried to save their friend. They had some buffs, he got to use the Aboleth's stat block, it was chaos and amazing. Printed and painted the mini for the event, they loved it.
They DID succeed in brining him back, defeated the aboleth in its own mind!

What they said. I need to know which instances to avoid for puritanical purposes.
New funny D&D podcast
A fun and unique monthly one shot TTRPG (mostly DnD) podcast. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and listen each month as a new story unfolds.
A buddy of mine started a D&D podcast with the intention of being short form, 2 episode arcs. The first two are out and I genuinely enjoyed them, thought it was worth sharing!
Makes me wonder with that quest being removed if there is any point in hunting for clues right now as key items may not be in the game.
