Its people not used to thinking about backups on databases etc or that they can't be used. They can probably stand up a database instance preannoncement with an api infront of it for ai training. Hell probably even offer it as extra monetary option. I like my steam deck. It is a big device. The other thing to consider is the games you will be playing. It runs steamos out of the box, so not every game works on it. It is a decent amount, but something also to consider.

My only game I think on steam with over 1000 hours is one I have played on and off with friends over the years. For the other examples, I can't say I have done those, but if I get hooked on something, I just kind of lose track of time and dont really pay attention to how much I am putting into it.
