  • Ooooh hell yea... China is still very culturally conservative. It reminds me of the youtuber CaptainCool07, even though he lives in San Fransisco. While he makes videos that give pretty decent insight into Chinese politics and history, his other content are however straight up lgbtphobic... talking about "wokism," "family values," etc. Bear in mind, this guy has also stated that he is not a communist/socialist, even though some of his content may appeal to MLs.

  • I found r/GenZeDong through r/Sino. And I first heard of r/Sino from some Vietnamese gusano on r/AsianMasculinity (liberal brainrot sub) complaining that the sub is "becoming r/Sino." I was in these pro-Asian subs like AsianMasculinity and AznIdentity because of the spike in anti-Asian/anti-Chinese racism in 2020.

    'Identity politics,' as some Marxists like to pejoratively put it, was what put me on this path and is what still keeps me here. I reckon a lot of the more dogmatic Marxists out there won't like this, but fuck them... I worry the fuck out of what will happen to me or Chinese people in general within the next few years.

  • "They need to learn." I really have nothing to say other than I'll bash this guy's face in if they said this to me in real life. Chinese people are often stereotyped as meek, shy, and 'don't want any trouble', but I'm at a point where I don't give a fuck anymore. This guy needs to learn. What I'll do to his face is but a tiny fraction of what he's advocating.
