I have such an issue with not finishing games that I really enjoy because I don't want them to end. I put off the final part for so longer that I stop playing the game. Never killed Ganon in BOTW, never actually finished Elden Ring
They're working on the API right now. Kbin is much newer than Lemmy. Lemmy's been around for like 3 years while Kbin is a few months old.

I noticed that a lot of the communities that are hosted on there only have posts from a week ago. Thought they were just a bit dead, but checked on their original instance and saw they're more lively than that it's just not showing up on Kbin.
Federation to Lemmy.ml seems to be broken? Not sure if that was intentional. I know it's a divisive instance.
