Microsoft says “Prism” translation layer does for Arm PCs what Rosetta did for Macs
  • Its not laziness, they have lost developers support over time and lets be honest here, Windows 8 arm was roundly laughed out the door. Expectations are now marketing hallucinated by copilot.

This is typical Microsoft “agile”: minimum effort and delivery.

  • What vegetables and fruits do you wish were commonly available in the US?
  • Move to straya, plenty of jobs atm, free healthcare, not a lot of homes and no where near the consumer brand choice. But it also means rich are not as rich, and no guns (by comparison) so kids are safe in schools!

Most supermarkets have plenty of fresh food, its better and cheaper to buy from farmers markets, but you can get by with the super chains( not going to get into the profiteering from them, save that for another day).

  • What vegetables and fruits do you wish were commonly available in the US?
  • Fresh food is weirdly expensive in the US. Got to give the US props for being consistently expensive when it comes to health related expenses I guess.

It seems bizarre for such a rich country to have the priorities so backwards.

    health and well being? Nah.

  • Asus just apologized for its outrageous repair costs and RMA process
  • They did this 12 months ago; said the right things and did absolutely nothing to stop.

Here we are again. If you or others experience warranty fraud like which is being experienced here watch the gamers nexus video as they have details on what you can do to land them in trouble with the state. If it happens enough asus could be fined significant amount of money or even lose trade licenses.

  • Asus just apologized for its outrageous repair costs and RMA process
  • Just send it in, ask for evidence for denial then send your communications and theirs to your state department so ASUS can be fined and it goes on the record. Eventually they will be threatened with heavy fines and trade restrictions if they keep comitting fraud.

  • I used resume spammers to apply for 120 jobs. Chaos ensued.
  • I doubt its HR people, it’s highly likely its employers.

If you don’t write the application for the job it’s going to be generic and b listed against the people who have written their applications for the job standing out far above yours. It shows you don’t have attention to detail and frankly don’t want the job. If an employer has 50 applicants (pretty low for tech) thats your competition.

TL;DR The harder you make it for an employer to justify hiring you the harder it is to get employment.
