Yeah, that's sadly the reason why I do have a pile of old pc/laptop hardware laying around and raspberry pi's for my local server needs..
Not to be a downer here, but last year I had plenty of super large tomatoes plants - super healthy too! I got I think 2-3 flowers and 0 fruits. But the odds are in your favor when your plants are that healthy :)
No I actually haven't, but I watch various creators on YouTube. Maybe I should give it a try :)
Wouldn't that simply be the question of: is docker running on ARM64 cpu's?
As far as I know lemmy and postgres both use alpine base images. Which should be compatible with whatever underlying host system you have, as long as docker is running.
Don't try to fight the weat, try to make peace with it. Otherwise you're fighting a loosing war.

I found it by browsing the stock of a very good German herbal/medical plant merchant. I got very intrigued by the description and just bought one plant and got to get a second plant from it by propagating via cuttings :D
It adds a light citruy fresh taste to the tea. I personally always mix it with some other tea, because by itself is very mild. I most often drink it with a basic green tea, some ginger and honey.

8 dollars? That's crazy. Especially because the plant itself isn't that hard to keep and produces an amount of leafs you will never be able to use all.
Agastache foeniculum seems nice, also seems to attract butterflies, which I was looking for anyways.
Oh yes love myself a good mint tea! Though I still have to find my favorite mint variety to make tea.

How does the hotness level depend on the watering? The less water the hotter the pepper?
To also contribute a plant myself: My current favorite is Jiaogulan. Even though it isn't really a spice, it is used to make tea (very mild) and they say it has the power to keep you young (not sure how much and if there is anything really to it).
Ah yes, basil got me into the whole plants rabbit hole. Love how easy it is to just get started by buying one pot from the super market and then just living off of it without ever needing to buy a new one.
I always let mine flower at the end of the year, and plant the next generation from seed, so I still have the 'same' basil plant from a couple of years ago when I started.

Yes, pressure cooker and pressure canner work the same. They use high pressure to reach higher temperatures - that higher temperature kills more bacteria.
A pressure canner still might be useful, because most pressure cookers aren't as big as the canners. I only use the cooker because I already had one way before I thought about canning stuff and because here in germany most canning still is done with hot water rather than in steam and therefore pressure canners are harder/more expensive to come by.
Yes there is a zone system also for Germany (and yes you guessed right) - I am sadly in zone 6, so it probably will be pretty hard for me to grow these..

Feed of other Instances not showing up

because lemmy is federated I thought I'd create my own instance, basically just for myself. Because I had no idea what I was doing, I tried to find post from other instances. First instance I tried was Beehaw. But it somehow did not work.
I was confused. Because after a few minutes I tried to get posts from other Instances and that worked pretty well.. Any idea why I can't access posts from beehaw on my own instance? Does it maybe have to do with them defederating lemmy.ml and sh.itjust.works?
