Up until this year, piracy was pretty much the only way to play the vast majority of Silent Hill and Metal Gear games on PC. A lot of ports exist but were either terrible and needed community support to function, weren’t listed on any digital marketplace, or both.
This is normal. You will never have anything you want and will continue to lose your rights, and you will like it. You want to improve your life? Sell drugs, then when the feds catch you they’ll make an example out of you for the next generation of wage slaves. Want to leave? We’ll make immigration just an absolute nightmare for you. Hop the border? We’ll gun you down. Hell, we’ll gun you down for talking about any of these things, then give those cops promotion and paid vacation for their “mental health.” Fuck everything to absolute hell. This world is fucked.
This just about sums up the entirety of the American government. It feels like every policy decision made to “improve” our lives has some sorta catch that’ll inevitably only improve the lives of the wealthiest people in this country (who just so happen to also run it), and everything else is just a net negative all the time. No change can happen under the current system.
