Does this mean I can stop stuffing my face with olives now
  • I'm a 30 year old who's been waiting 14 months for a doctors visit to establish a primary care physician in the US.

I paid for a whole year of employer provided healthcare that I couldn't even use the most basic function of. This system is great

  • Two moods
  • As someone who was already only mostly playing single player games, the transition from Windows to Linux was so easy. All my games just work. The only multiplayer game I fuck with anymore is Battlebit Remastered, and that works great.

Since my style of learning is "jump in and figure it out as you go" (impulsive idiot), I've been very impressed with how much has just worked.

I've been afraid to recommend my set up to friends though because I don't want to be their troubleshooter.

  • I wish there were more articles about tech not tech biz
  • My bugbear is people constantly complaining about the Linux circle-jerk. We get it, you're the cool unpopular opinion holder in the place where the foundation of the site we're all utilizing shares the same philosophy as Linux and FOSS. We get it, you're so brave having such a spicy individual opinion.

  • This argument would make more sense if this free society wasn't the same society that would jail me for years for wanting to occasionally do some cocaine. As it stands, this is not a free society and this argument isn't one.

  • Migrated from Windows to Linux. Decided to share list of answers/statements I was looking for before did it (and could not find).
  • Anecdotal, but I jumped straight into EndeavorOS from Windows 10 with very little knowledge about Linux before hand and it's been a very "it just works" out of the box experience for me.

Granted I just use my PC mainly for gaming, but outside of a few issues that were my own fault for not reading/doing any research before wiping my Windows install, its been an incredibly smooth experience.
