Not the most elegant solution but you can always just install nautilus. Nothing is keeping you from using apps from both DEs except a little extra work getting the theme set

The biggest issue with PVC toys is that they can never be properly sterilized. Because PVC is a porous material germs and bacteria can get deep inside of it where it’s impossible to clean.

A cheap condom would work great for keeping the toy clean, and if it breaks being quick to wash the toy with soap or a disinfectant toy cleaner should be enough to prevent any issues.
