Android users who don't use the stock launcher - what launcher do you use, and what do you like about it?
  • Kvaesitso is really good, but I keep coming back to Kiss. Even if you put your most used apps on the bottom of the apps drawer (instead of the default, on top), they're not as easily accessible compared to Kiss.

On Kiss, the history/most used apps are easily accessible with one hand, without needing to move it.

  • Another +1 for KISS, it's such an amazing launcher. I'm actually surprised to see it mentionned so much in this thread.

I have my 5 most used app on top of the search bar and my most used apps (that get automatically sorted by usage) readily accessible. The search feature + tags is so powerful, there's no need to scroll through the apps anymore when looking for something.

  • Ad blocking on android
  • This, but I personally use Adguard Home + Unbound instead of Pi-Hole + Unbound. Adguard Hone also open source, but it runs as a single service instead of 2. You can easily update it from the web interface when there's a new release, which makes things easier.

  • New bot rules, Lemmy 0.18.3, and a message about alternative Lemmy frontends on lemm.ee
  • Thank you for everything! I have recently landed here after I heard you had lots of contributions to the Lemmy code and were using a load balancer for your servers.

Best of luck for your house damage and your job, I wish you the best 🤞
