Just Enterprise. Man I still hate that intro.
I don't get the whole MIT vs GPL rivalry. They both have their uses. If you want to use GPL, go for it. And if you want something like MIT that works too.
Thankfully both exist because I think we definitely need both.
You can also get shadowbanned on a specific sub. But I'm guessing OP is asking about sitewide
And yet I still spend most of my time in a Linux terminal
There's a reason non-religious people go into biology. They're trying to answer questions that can really only be answered by a Creator
People murder and lie and sin all over the place. It's simply evidence of the nature of humans after the fall. We're sinners. And sin hurts everyone.
Well. Not really too different than evolution's answer in that respect.
I don't think "blind faith" is a very good phrase.
First of all, it certainly doesn't happen to every Christian, but I've personally experienced and seen so much evidence of God's activity, there's no way you could convince me of it being untrue. I would have to find so many answers to questions that science and natural law just would not be able to explain.
Secondly, the natural evidence is abundant. Look at the world, the universe, the complexity of biology, cell division, etc, etc - it plainly points to a creator.
Well strictly speaking, Adam and Eve had a lot more children than just the three mentioned in the bible.
I think the church needs to learn how to love people no matter whether they agree with their life styles.
Jesus certainly taught that by example in his life.
What is something that you just don't understand about the Christian faith?

What do you like about NEEDTOBREATHE specifically? Any favorite songs you'd recommend?
I think your options.binary_location needs to point directly to the executable. So: /mnt/sdb1/firefox/firefox
And executable_path should point to your geckodriver: /mnt/sdb1/firefox/geckodriver
I feel like this post might be too interesting to qualify for this community!
Why don't we treat the sin of gluttony with the same seriousness as some other sins?
A question posted on another forum, but I thought it might be good to discuss here. Do you think it's true? And if true, why might that be?

Boomers and GenXers don't like that, either. So we haven't done anything like that in many years.

That's an excellent sugguestion. And I've learned that it's much better to join what people are already doing in the area, rather than replicate it or start something new as a church that is already being done by others in the same city.
How do we best reach the next generation with the gospel?
It's becoming more and more apparent that the next generation is different than Boomers and GenXers. And our methods of evangelism and outreach may not be actually reaching Millennials and Gen Z.
So what does your church do or what ideas do you have to reach them with the gospel?
Acid Lakes is definitely a great song too.
I don't think there's a single bad song on the whole album. They're all at least 'good' and most of them are 'great' songs in my estimation.

What are your Halloween traditions?
My family was never much into trick or treating, but we usually like to get together with family / friends and watch Arsenic and Old Lace or Luther or something like that.
How about you?
A 100-strong mob surrounded the police station in Delhi’s GTB Nagar for several hours and raised provocative slogans as the pastor and injured persons reached to file their complaint.
Just found this community. I'm glad it exists.
I'm not a Republican anymore. My political beliefs haven't changed that much, but the party did a lot.
I'm for small government. And I'm personally socially conservative but don't think the government should be involved in mandating morality except for when it involves harm to others (murder, theft, fraud, etc).
Policy wise, I think the GOP should be more about actual small government than just being about 10-20 years behind leftist policies (see social security or health care mandates)
Here's my question though. Can the GOP be saved? Can it be restored to actual fiscally conservative values?
