    What books are you reading at the moment?

  • I'm currently reading American Psycho and The Two Towers. Both can be slow at times, so it's nice to be able to read one of them and when it gets boring read the other one

  • We have very good public transport where I live, but it's so much easier to simply drive where you need to go instead of waiting at a bus stop for 15 minutes and then still need to walk for another 10 minutes to get where you needed to go. Yes, it's dumb and really bad for the environment, but it's easy. And more often than not, people prioritise stuff being easy rather than environmentally friendly.

    Hosting an instance just for yourself?

  • Not sure what specs are needed for a kbin instance, but pretty much anything running an x64 processor and a reasonable amount of ram should work, even if it's really old.

  • I got an ortho keyboard (Planck EZ) a couple of months ago, and at first typing on it was really awkward, but after only a couple of days my typing speeds got almost as good as before. Layers are a bit confusing, but it's not super hard to memorize them

  • Apart from coffee, the only food I've really had to learn to like is porridge. I hated it as a kid but it has really grown on me. It's very nutritious and tastes great with some raspberry jam
