I agree, completely. The Suga vs Chito fight made me a little hesitant to just throw him at Yan but SS had a great showing. I'm a supporter of the Suga Show. I really hope he's been trying to attack off of his back during this camp. If not, I think Aljo will effectively nullify Sean on the feet and take him down fairly easily en route to a submission victory for Aljo.
I am completely in agreement with people finding ethical ways to make money or grow their fan base. But I can't think of a more boring experience than hearing CCC talk for an hour. Respectfully!
Realistically. How long do you all think Poatan needs to heal up and jump into another camp?
Shout out to Kevin Holland. He's slowly starting to resemble Cowboy Cerrone with the way he's navigating his career. I'll always be supporters of fighters with this mindset.
Luke Thomas, hate him or love him is inconsequential, had a great point. The UFC is unlike most promotions in that there is no Show and Win bonus like most of us think. All contracts clearly state no money will be exchanged until bout completion.
As ruthless as this sounds, Dana isn't even obligated to pay Show money if a fighter makes weight and sprains an ankle entering the Octagon. I would love see fighters unionize and slowly try to regain some leverage against the UFC and WME as a whole. But with each passing year with no progress that seems less and less likely.
This is great news for the Black Beast. I was so worried the PFL would try to lure him away with a huge contract offer.
