  • Yep. The idea that Reddit Admin did this to nullify the blackout was suspect from the start. Why would it only be on r/AdviceAnimals? Lol

People are mad at Reddit right now and we're looking for any reason to confirm their bias and run away with their narrative.

  • I Hope Rexxitors Tone Down the Low-Hanging Comment Chains on Lemmy.
  • I feel like there is a potential but minor problem with Lemmy's algorithm. It favors new comments but what if the post itself is asking a question with a definitive answer? The best answers might get buried by side discussion as time goes on.

  • Farmed vs Wild Salmon?
  • Looks like this might be a US vs Canada thing.

I wasn't aware there was such a thing as wiild caught Atlantic Salmon because in the US

All Atlantic salmon in the public market is cultured and commercially grown.

You are still correct in saying that wild caught can be problematic as well.

  • How did you discover the Cosmere?
  • I saw a large poster of the cover for The Way of Kings behind the register at a bookstore. Thought it looked cool and made a mental note to check it out.

A few years later I randomly remembered it and described it to a friend. He told me the title and said it was one of his favorite books.

I finally picked it up myself and really enjoyed it. Moved on to the rest of the Cosmere after that.

  • Air Fryer Chicken Thighs!
  • Article says

You can use any seasoning mix you’d like, but today we used a simple mix of smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, salt, and pepper.

That's pretty much how I season mine when I do chicken wings. But instead of onion powder and cayenne pepper, I add a liquid garlic sauce, Gota hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
