Tried that, but the ads are baked in same as the videos so it wouldn't play the actual videos either
Is there anyway to block ads if you are watching YouTube on consoles/ps5/xbox?
A straight up auction house would be my dream for streamlining trading but yeah odds of that happening are pretty low I think
Like being able to queue up a warframe after all the parts finish?
Like being able to queue up a warframe after all the parts finish?
There's about 8 of us in our late 20s-30s and my partner and I see at least 2 of them every weekend. None of us have any kids so that probably helps, easy enough to fit it in our schedule
Might be similar to Gara, not sure if they should do anything to differentiate that or if that would be fine
Lmao I really want to give that a try now
I do think if I could change the scaling, I'd give Avalanche a full strip at 200% strength.
My biggest wish other than more scaling on his 2,3, and 4 is a rework/replace on his 1 and passive. I'm with you in the fact they just don't really do anything.
Forgot about his orbs only working with ally fire in one direction, I've been defeated by friendly Globes more than I'd like to admit.
Overall I think all your points would be worth it. Like all frames of course you can make him work/he is good enough but I would like to see him more comfortable to play
I'm excited to get to your top 5 then, this is an impressive breakdown
I think if he got a rework, biggest thing other than more scaling I'd like his 1 to get replaced and his passive to get replaced and I think he'd be a lot more popular
Do you think Frost got some improvement with the Cold buff they released recently?
I have used Chilling Globe, it is good but struggles with a lot of Eximus and if you are at a point where the bubbles can't stay alive
Also did not know about the Impedence interaction, that is funny, going to get the augment just to mess around with that
He probably makes top 10 for me, there's just so many amazing frames now its hard to pick
Like Keegan said above time has not been kind to the poor guy, he falls off pretty hard in end game content. Of course he can do fine like any frame, but I hard agree with the lack of scaling.
I really wish they improved his mobility at least, sprint speed of 0.95 feels so slow
If I could make one change, I think his abilities need more scaling. Enough so ice wave and Avalanche can regularly kill things without 300% strength and globe can tank as well as Gara's wall
Also forgot, last weeks Warframe,Mag, https://lemmygrad.ml/post/1423538
Like I mentioned I like Frost, not quite enough that he makes my top 5, but enough that I'll mention it twice.
I definitely think his kit can show its age nowadays, he really lacks some of the utility and mechanics that most new frames carry so he can feel basic if you're more familiar with the new ones
That said I do feel like strength wise he isn't in a bad spot, I think the Icy Avalanche rework really helped out as far as playing Frost defensively/support and I don't think Frost himself is in desperate need for a rework
Weekly Warframe:Frost
Little late this week but we are back with another cool Warframe
This is Frost, colder and deadlier than space itself. Frost can protect or punish, the decision is yours.
1st ability-Freeze A blast of cold energy that can freeze the target
2nd ability-Ice Wave Send out a wave of frozen ice dealing heavy damage and inflicting cold upon enemies
3rd ability-Snow Globe Create an icy barrier to stop incoming projectiles, great for defending objectives
4th ability-Avalanche Summon a landslide of ice to freeze and shatter all enemies in its radius
Passive Enemies hitting Frost with a melee attack have a 10% chance to get frozen for 20 seconds
Progenitor-Cold
Subsumed Ability-Ice Wave
Tactical Ability-Snow Globe
Frost can be found by defeating Captain Vor and Lech Kril on Exta, Ceres with the main blueprint on the Market
Frost was introduced 1/29/2013 in update 6.0. His design was based on an unused boss from DE's previous game, Dark Sector
Frost Prime was introduced in update 7.10 in 5/3/2013. Frost prime is tied with Hydroid Prime for the fourth highest possible shields at 3,195
Frost is the second Warframe that received a prime version, and the first one that is craftable.
I really like Frost (Honestly I'm a big fan of all the elemental based frames)
He excels at defending objectives with his abilities, and with the introduction of his new mod for Ice Wave, Icy Avalanche, he can protect his allies with plenty of overguard
I love Saryn
I love Saryn so much she is love she is life
Look at them, they come to this Saryn when they know they are not pure. Tenno use the Warframes, but they are mere trespassers. Only I, Vor, know the true power of the Saryn. I was cut in half, destroyed, but through her Molt, Saryn called to me. She brought me here and here I was reborn. We cannot blame these creatures, they are being led by a false prophet, an impostor who knows not the secrets of Saryn Prime. Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred Warframe. My brothers, did I not tell of this day? Did I not prophesize this moment? Now, I will stop them. Now I am changed, reborn through the energy of the Saryn. Forever bound to her. Let it be known, if the Tenno want true salvation, they will lay down their arms, and wait for the baptism of my Saryn key. It is time. I will teach these trespassers the redemptive power of my Saryn key. They will learn it's simple truth. The Tenno are lost, and they will resist. But I, Vor, will cleanse her place of their impurity.
That would be sick, maybe it could be semi based around the element from Duviris Joy Spiral?
I know it's a mostly tragic story, but I would love some uplifting frames/plots
Well, depends on the farm. Farms I grew up on and around were and are kind to their animals, even if they are going to get slaughtered close to the end of their life.
Big corporate factory farms (IE Perdue) keep their animals in conditions bad enough they'd be better in the wild
You could make the argument that he has gone insane, though not necessarily berserk, since he is filled with murderous rage over an event that happened centuries ago and with vigor he's forgotten who he even is.
What is Stalker? (Spoilers Likely)
Wanted to revive some debate as to what exactly old Stalky is exactly
We know he was essentially an Orokin babysitter as a guard when the empire fell. But that raises the question for one, how is he still alive and for two, how did he learn to fight Tenno?
My theory is he himself is either a Tenno or he is a form of Warframe
I think there's a possibility after the Tenno killed the Orokin, he either found some way to work the Helminth or just infected himself with the infestation
Sort of like a Robocop deal?
Druid would be sweet, also missing for me would be a classic "by the holy light" type paladin. I think Oberon feels a little scattered thematically in my opinion
Now that you mention it, we really don't have a "heavy" warframe which seems like a miss. Maybe big focus on the exalted archgun and maybe explosives as other abilities?
Exactly one if my thoughts, reverse Hildryn with energy and some high powered abilities would be sick, I love your idea
What Archetype of Warframe Would You Want?
There is now 53 (54?) unique frames covering a lot of area in themes and gameplay
Personally I am surprised and disappointed we haven't gotten an actual wizard type frame. Might be little odd with Chroma and Lavos but I want one that looks like a wizard and has some sort of way to cycle through casting spells, I'm thinking similar concept to Chroma but with a focus on casting instead of weapons
Also kind of surprised we don't have a medieval Europe style knight or Samurai (Unless Excalibur or someone I'm forgetting counts)
This one is just a personal complaint, I want a more dragon themed kit in a frame but I know Chroma is taking up that space. I like the look, but he just doesn't feel dragon like enough for me
Weekly Warframe:Mag
Last week Volt here https://lemmygrad.ml/post/1319756
This is Mag, a force to be reckoned with. Mag is a team player, Tenno, and a worthy addition to any squad.
1st ability-Pull your enemies to a space nearby
2nd ability-Magnitize Tap to enclose an enemy in an orb of magnetic power and hold to protect yourself with a magnetic shield
3rd ability-Polarize Emit a wide orb of energy around the area that drains enemy shield and armor while restoring allies
4th ability-Crush Magnetize enemy bones, causing heavy damage in an area
Passive-Bullet jumping pulls items to Mag
Progenitor-Magnetic (surprise)
Released 10-25-2012
Mag is the last of the three starting frames alongside Excalibur and Volt. Her blueprint can be bought on the market, and parts from The Sergeant on Iliad, Phobos. She can also be bought fully built from Teshin once Typhoon rank in Conclave for 60,000 standing.
Mag was introduced in vanilla, originally replacing Volt as a starting frame 3/18/2013 then Volt came back 7/18/2014 replacing Loki. Since then, these three have been the beginner choices.
Mag received a prime variant 9/13/2013 Update 10, becoming the first female warframe to receive a prime
Blue Vs Yellow Reactor Invasion Carpo, Jupiter
Timed invasion going on, Sabotage for yellow Exterminate for blue
Any Time Limit on Tennocon?
Just wanted to check if anyone knows if the ticket for Tennocon expires or if it is available the whole time?
Favorite Incarnons?
I have been thoroughly enjoying all of the Incarnon weapons from the original 5 to all the adaptors for those who have unlocked Steel Path.
Personally, I am so happy that Lex is good now since it's one of my personal favorites along with the Boltor and Strun, just because I finally have a decent riven.
Laetum is probably my favorite or second favorite secondaries, very funny with the Glock skin too
Weekly Warframe:Volt
(Let me know if the link has any issues, haven't linked anything on Lemmy before)
Last week had positive reception overall, so this week we're following up with a fast favorite
This is Volt, a versatile warrior. Volt's arsenal is powerful and electrifying. Handle with care, Tenno.
PASSIVE Grounded movement generates an electrical charge building up 1000 Damage per meter that is unleashed with the next attack.
1ST ABILITY Shock-Shoot a bolt of lightning at an enemy
2ND ABILITY Speed-Harness electrifying power to grant yourself and allies extra speed
3RD ABILITY Electric Shield-Summon a barrier that empowers projectiles shot through it, can be picked up
4TH ABILITY Discharge-Emit a high powered blast that electrocutes all enemies in a radius, becoming vulnerable
Progenitor Element-Electricity
Subsumed Ability-Shock
Tactical Ability-Speed
Volt is one of the 3 starter warframes alongside Excalibur and next weeks planned frame. His parts if not chosen can be obtained from the Tenno lab in your clan dojo, or bought from Teshin fully built after reaching Typhoon rank in Conclave for 60,000 standing.
Volt received a prime model in 2015, though now vaulted Baro Ki'teer will occasionally bring relics containing Volt Prime parts.
Volt is the first frame to receive 5 augment mods, 2 being Conclave exclusive
Volt has had 3 changes to his drop locations, originally dropping from the J3 Golem fight in the old days before being moved to Survival rewards, to his current resting spot in the clan labs.
It is possible to stack strength high enough that his speed can crash a mission, though not recommended
Can already tell the Jack O Naut mission will be fun
I tried to do a quick run a couple times, got in groups with kept trying to melee the guy down instead of baiting into the barrels
Any hot takes or opinions you have on Warframe?
Anything that you think is unpopular about balance, story, or just any changes you would like to see
Personally my biggest one might not even be controversial, but I don't like shield gating being used as a primary method of survivability and I don't like seeing people recommend it to new players when they reach the point where staying alive is a concern. I know it's "optimal" for some frames but just feels cheesy to me.
Weekly(?) Warframe:Excalibur
Preface I had mentioned doing something like this before and had some positive reception, if not allowed or any recommendations please feel free to let me know.
Excalibur epitomizes the warrior spirit. His master swordsmanship deals high damage. He is the embodiment of martial excellence.
1ST ABILITY Slash Dash-Slice through enemies, becoming invincible throughout
2ND ABILITY Radial Blind-Send out a blinding wave, briefly stunning enemies in an area
3RD ABILITY Radial Javelin-Throw out projectiles around you, causing damage to enemies
4TH ABILITY Exalted Blade-Summon a powerful sword, equipped with mods of your choosing
Subsumed ability-Radial Blind
Progenitor Element-Electricity
Released in Vanilla 10-25-2012
One of the three starting frames offered, he also comes in the form Excalibur Umbra earned in the main quest line and the exclusive Excalibur Prime-This prime is only for the original founders who supported Warframe in its inception.
The parts if not selected at the start come from Lech Kril on Mars, and he can be bought fully assembled from Teshin through Conclave once you have achieved Typhoon rank.
The Circuit is amazing
I'm so glad for the circuit rewards, I have ran Granums Void and Railjack so many times for Protea and Sevagoth respectively and still missing parts. Same with getting Saryn parts this week, just wanted to rant about how nice it is having a way to get guaranteed drops and I love the new incarnons
Something I've been curious about
I don't really understand how new books or new authors get their works to wider audiences nowadays. How exactly do you find new books, or if you write how do you get them out to people with how much content is put out every day?
Favorite new content or just content in general?
I've really been enjoying Duviri story wise and gameplay wise. I know I've had several people talk about how much they loved Zariman, I like the new modes but the tiles themselves are a bit much for me personally

2023 Tennocon Ticket?
Just wanted to see if there's any opinions I could get on the digital ticket in the store, and if anyone happens to have the Excel sheet with how much Baro's inventory will cost overall?
