I was going to suggest Tau Zero. It might not be exactly what he's chasing but there's are some similar points. Plus it's really good and fairly short.

I just like to lurk. Too bad the whole sub didn't just move to Lemmy. I don't like having to click those Reddit links to view the conversations, but I will if it's anything of interest.

I'm having the same issue no matter how I search. [email protected] for example. Hopefully the inter-instance community searching improves. It's really the only issue I've had moving from Reddit.
