Ah fuck that's right, forgot he was an RFA. Feels like he's been around forever for some reason
Seems like a huge haul for a guy they could have potentially gotten in free agency, happy for the jets though given what they gave up to acquire him.
The Winnipeg Jets completed a sign-and-trade sending Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forwards Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, and a 2024 second-round pick, the teams announced Tuesday.Prior to the swap, the Jets inked Dubois to an eight-year extension with an...
He was excellent in the playoffs, and it could end up being a sweet deal, but damn that seems like a lot of money for a relatively small sample size.
I'll believe it when I see it, they should have rebuilt like 5 years ago. Being mediocre isn't helping anybody
Another fantastic move by the Canucks, what an absolute brain trust running that team
The Vancouver Canucks are paying Oliver Ekman-Larsson a hefty sum to join another team.Vancouver plans to buy out the highly paid defenseman, his agent Kevin Epp told CHEK's Rick Dhaliwal. Ekman-Larsson will become an unrestricted free agent as a result. The veteran blue-liner has four years remainin...
This guy had 2 points in the first round and ended up second in scoring with 13 goals. Unreal performance by him. Only put up 57 points in 76 games this year and then does 25 in 21, talk about playoff performer
Vegas Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault was voted the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as MVP of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Tuesday night. Marchessault ranked second among all skaters this spring with 25 points in 22 games - trailing only teammate Jack Eichel - while his 13 goals tied Edmo...
Apparently this was the highest scoring Stanley Cup final game, absolutely brutal way to end the season but the fans must have loved it
The Tunic soundtrack is very good, great music for putting on while getting some work done!
I know we have no right to know, but damn if I'm not unbelievably curious what the hell happened
Gotta suck that it looks like both your teams in the finals are about to lose
Sad you guys lost out on Bedard, would have been awesome with all your young talent
Yeah I didn't participate much on Reddit at all but I feel a bit more inclined given the size of this community. Team specific can come later if needed, just happy to find some other hockey fans!
I'll keep that tip in mind, I think we have some aging vets that your team is primed to sign for too long and too much money ;)
Looking forward to participating in this community!
excited to try this out
Started looking at some Reddit alternatives today with the upcoming change to API policy. This seems like a cool option that lines up with my values. Super pumped to find a hockey community here as that was my main interest on Reddit. Still trying to figure out exactly how to use Lemmy, so any tips would be appreciated! Any team specific communities? I'm a leafs fan for reference
