I have to check out Under falling skies. I absolutely adore xcom 2 so in theory it sounds like I would enjoy it. Anybody have any experience with the game?
Crazy to think this happened to me too.
Any shows that I'm missing?
Me and my SO find ourselves more often than not just browsing through what's available on various services but not feeling like we find anything we want to watch. I don't think it's necessary to list what we've watched because almost all of the big things we have already watched. So I'm looking for some diamonds in the rough that might have gone under the radar. The type of shows that we typically enjoy is stuff like, Dark, the Leftovers and Succession.
Same except it was Tycho for me.
Newgrounds most definitely. And as an earlier poster stated, muds. Specifically MUME. Oh man many hours have been spent playing that game
Yeah this is the way I do it except I do a third step which is go back and see if any of the feats ive chosen because of mechanics could be switched to better fit thematically
I'll definitely check it out. I mostly play with my SO and one of our most played games is viticulture so I might be able to convince her that we need more wine games.
I really want a Lacerda game. But I just know I would never get it to the table because of the weight. It's to bad as well because personally I really like heavy games.
Oh yeah that is definitely it's biggest flaw. It's hella expensive if you get in to it.
Arkham Horror LCG, good story and good gameplay.
Currently in the fifth book of a 1e to 2e converted rise of the runelords campaign. First character died in a party wipe pretty early on so an ustalavian ysoki professor mastermind rogue picked up after that. Had a crazed knight of Ragathiel for a while. And right now im playing a wizard who's the father of a certain bastard that's introduced pretty early in the books.
And in a lot of ways it's much more an RPG than D&D or Pathfinder because RPing is literally all you do. I've played 4 times now with different groups and it definitely makes a difference what people you play with but it hasn't been hard to convince them to try and most have enjoyed it.
I don't think you need to worry. Consensus is that pf2e is actually easier to run than 5e. There might be more rules, but they work and you don't need to make shit up to make it work.
Luckily paizo rarely use 5ft wide corridors in their APs /s
I really want to run Alien RPG. Specifically the cinematic scenarios. I really like the concept of everyone having they're own agenda and sometimes having to work against each other. Unfortunately I don't have many interested friends so it's hard getting to the table.
Man I feel this so much. Jävla stockholmare.
Arkham Horror LCG for sure and just because I'm stranded on an island I'll bring Robinson Crusoe so I can immerse myself while I'm immersed.
There's a severe lack of space cannibalism imho
