You do get to transfer your three most powerful demons out of your OG compendium when you start Vengeance, so you get some carryover from having played the original. I get why they didn't allow direct save game transfers on account of features vanilla doesn't have that would need to be accounted for in Vengeance, such as Magatsu Rails, the landslide of new side quests, and the few dozen new demons available to recruit and fuse.
I get the irritation with the Golden Syndrome. If I'm not sure I want to double dip, or I am not confidant the game will do well enough for an upgrade, I'll wait.
Thoughts on SMTV:V?
The last post here was 5 months ago. That's sad.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on the changes to SMTV in Vengeance?
I'm digging them. Save anywhere and Magatsu Rails are excellent improvements, and I dig the new demons quite a bit. Playing on Switch.

Chaos/ Chaotic Neutral
Great question! I was under the impression the Tarot came first.
Love that the Spanish are using Tarot suits for their standard playing cards.
Walk. You walk the dinosaur.
Think you better quit letting shit slip...
#Justice4Tuvix!
If you like Privateer, check out Double Damage Games "Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw". Excellent game with a lot of sadly lost potential due to the dev being run out of game development by hostile and entitled "gamers".
Darkstar One. And it is just now getting rereleased, so it doesn't count.
So instead, I'll pick The Legend of Dragoon on PSX. Such a fun RPG that really needs revisited.
This is just her explaining what you get when you vote for any Republican. Especially her.
Megaman Legends 3.
That's definitely a mental image right there.
I can't understand why on Earth they would release another incomplete version of the game when this is very clearly the best opportunity to release a definitive version with all content. It comes off as either tone deaf to their audience, or as a crass attempt to milk yet another future release with the P3P Kotone content added.
Feel like I'm not likely to pull the trigger on another version of P3 unless it has all of the content included in previous versions. No Kotone, no sale.
If you want to see all of the extra content for Royal, then you need to have all three. Which is exactly what I said in the first place.
Um, ack shoe wally!
SMT V's main story is pretty average difficulty, almost too easy if you know the combat system and do any real prep with fusions. The optional content can be very challenging, though.
P5R does have similar requirements to get the true ending, but they're pretty easy to meet if you make any real effort with keeping Confidants leveled. There are three Confidant requirements you need to meet to have access to the true ending and Royal's extra content.
Persona 5 Royal on Switch and No Man's Sky. Looking forward to Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Darkstar One coming very soon! I finished vanilla SMT V some time ago, and my daughter has been playing it, so we're both excited to see what Vengeance has in store.
But only when combined with lightning.
Voyager and Paramount Plus
I just started watching Voyager on Paramount Plus today, and noticed that the first two episodes, which are shown together, are presented as the appropriate 4:3 aspect ratio, but Episode 3 "Parallax" is presented in a distorted 16:9 or 16:10 format. I see no option to change this in Paramount Plus settings, and my Vizio TV will also not allow me to alter what ratio is being displayed.
Anyone else have this issue? Is this going to persist for the entire series? I didn't have this issue at all with TOS, Animated, TNG, or DS9.
