Normally you don't want to bring attention to things like this to the public. Now others who are looking for that kind of content will know where to look.
One complaint I have is that I can't post a comment without having to click "Post". In many applications, Reddit being one of them, you are able to use the hot key Ctrl+Enter and it will post/send whatever you wrote.

Are you by any chance using an ivory paper? Mine looks like it has a hint of purple too in my Midori.
It's an interesting ink. When the ink starts wet it almost looks like a shade of green, as it dried it becomes more and more grey as the name implies. I recommend you get a sample.
