  • Cosmic crisp are very much not available to me in NJ most of the time. The word isn't out yet. They are crisper and sweeter than a honeycrisp with better acidity and a firmer fruit with an even longer shelf life.

  • Because red delicious are still common and if you are under 30 they have been trash your whole life because you were born AFTER the breeding programs that stripped its flavor. If you are over 40 you remember a stretch when they were good. If you are in your thirties it's going to be hit or miss.

They used to be remarkable but that's when they would not be entirely red.

  • So you know little about apples and are also under 30 years of age?

Pink Ladies are B/A tier (not as shelf stable as many newer breeds and lack the intensity of a jazz, snapdragon, or cosmic crisp)

Red Delicious WERE S tier but breeding in the 80s for a larger more aesthetically pleasing apple deprived it if the bands of green and red that "marred" the surface. Those genes that made those colors contributed the apple flavor. If you can find an old cultivar of Red Delicious you'll understand why the variety was called that.

  • Cosmic crisp and Evercrisp are vastly superior to Honeycrisp. Cosmic Crisps are the better version of the honeycrisp largely because you can only grow them in WA right now.

  • Sorry to burst your bubble but POTUS is a management position. You oversee millions of jobs as the head of the Executive branch.

It is a job that the vast majority do not have the skills or temperament to manage with any degree of competence. The plantation owner who oversaw the hundreds of jobs/slaves of the past might have been able to be the head of a smaller and weaker government but the modern farmer isn't going to have skills that transfer to POTUS.

The reason why it's finance, politicians, and lawyers that end up in the job is those are the fields whose skills actually do transfer.

POTUS isn't an entry level job. You should have governmental experience and a history of managing large organizations.

  • ain't got no rizz
  • They did and I thought it was new back then but I was wrong.

It's like "bet" in that I thought that was also newer when it came back until I watched Eddie Murphy hosting SNL for the first time and he used it in the monologue.

  • 100% Chance
  • That isn't a fallacy either. If they knew about the NBER or not "they" did not change the definition. The definition they thought was correct is an oversimplification and was not correct.
