Hatte vor ein paar Tagen genau das gleiche Problem. Hab am iPhone einen Passkey für Google erstellt und das bringt mir halt am Desktop PC oder am Linux Notebook nix. Außer man nutzt kostenpflichtige Anbieter wie 1Passwort welchen den Passkey sharen.
Die Option auf mehreren Geräten einen Passkey für einen Dienst zu erstellen find ich zwar interessant, aber ohne Biometrik auf meinen restlichen Geräten bringt mir das auch nix.
Passkeys find ich grundsätzlich interessant, aber man wird schon sehr an Anbieter wie Google oder Apple gebunden. Mit unterschiedlichen (sicheren) Passwörtern pro Dienst kannst eigentlich auch in Zukunft nix falsch machen. Passkeys soll es dem 0815 User ermöglichen nicht überall das gleiche unsichere Kennwort verwenden zu müssen.
Ich bleib bei Kennwort + optionales 2FA bis Passkeys ausgereift sind.

This. I know identical twins, at first glance they look exactly the same, but with a little time it's pretty easy to tell them apart. Even in older photos it's not that hard to tell which is which.

I would like to change my Gmail for Proton Mail. The monthly option for Mail Plus seems reasonable to me. The cost for Unlimited seems a bit too high. I don’t like paying 1 or 2 years in advance.
Proton Support said it is impossible to combine Proton Mail Plus monthly with the Pass Plus for 12 euros/year.
Is there really no possibility?

[Feature Request] Swipe from the right to return to the last post
When I close a post with a swipe from the left, I sometimes want to quickly return to my last position in my last open post. In Apollo, I could swipe from the right to return directly to my last position.
Would love thar feature.

Alternative iOS-Keyboard (SwiftKey) problem: Text partially covered
I use SwiftKey and have the problem that when I write a new post with a longer text, SwiftKey covers parts of the input field. I can no longer see what I am writing. My SwiftKey is one line larger than the standard iOS keyboard.
That might be the problem. If I switch to the standard iOS keyboard, I see all the text.

Wie seht ihr das? Wir haben zuhause ein e-Auto, aber auch nur weil es ein Firmenwagen ist und man da momentan noch 0 Euro Sachbezug hat. Sprich: keinerlei Kosten. Auch der Strom wird übernommen.
Aber Privat gesehen wäre mir die Anschaffung zu teuer. Es fehlen meiner Meinung nach günstige Einstiegsmodelle.

Momentan ist's ja schon recht warm und es wird heuer (mal wieder) ein extrem heißer Sommer erwartet.
Wie kühlt ihr euch bzw. eure Wohnung?
Überlege selbst gerade mir eine mobile Split-Klimaanlage zu kaufen. Das Außengerät kann man ohne Baugenehmigung auf den Balkon stellen und das Innengerät ist deutlich leiser als die Monoblock-Klimageräte.
Stromkosten sind bei ca. 1kwh auch in Ordnung. Mehr als 1-2h an heißen Tagen sollte die ja eh nicht laufen müssen.
Nachteil ist der Anschaffungspreis von knap 2000 Euro.

Dann würde hier eventuell etwa mehr Leben reinkommen.
