Monster Hunter Rise Player base
So I just bought a physical copy for Switch because it's just dirt cheap new right now. I've never played a monster hunter game before but the Japanese setting really drew me in. Do people still play the base game online? Am I okay to mostly solo it?
I'm never touching New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe again... That's for sure.
I really thought it was on Switch Online... huh... This explains why it's not. lol
More excited for Super Mario Wonder than Super Mario RPG
Anyone else more excited for Super Mario Bros Wonder then the Super Mario RPG remake? I didn't really think it needed a remake. You can play it everywhere. Pretty sure it's on Nintendo Online and then there is the SNES classic too. The graphical style in which high def models are turned into sprites are just so mid-90's. Replacing those with just generic HD Mario models seem a little lackluster or boring.
We all have to live our lives. Just the last few years have been a roller coaster. Presidential elections, a global increase in far right populism, a pandemic, a huge land war in Europe, and a shaky economy. If you think about all this stuff regularly, it's going to be impossible to find joy in your everyday life. I try to live everyday the best I can. And that everything I do is an act of resistance. I do believe that the bigotry we are seeing now will eventually pass. Canada is a pretty cool place to be right now. Be thankful you are in a pretty safe spot compared to others and try to live your life. A happy queer makes the bigots lose it.
