Banning bot accounts over the last day
  • hoo interesting, didn't realize how the instance dynamic worked before... I somehow though which instance I signed up with was just a trivial choice (but glad to have chosen this one of the reasons mentioned then! (+ wizards are always cool)

  • Tips for first trip?
  • On top of what has already been said, the responsible drug use guid from psychonaut is really good, see "hallucinogen" section here: https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Responsible_drug_use

In my case I follow these ones:

    • test my drugs, 2 different reagent kits preffered, take a small amount! very important to not overdo it.

    • Good setting, a safe place where I won't be disturbed, phone off, or at least do not disturb mode

    • Set, if I'm going through tough times I tend to not trip, sometimes this helps to gain more insight and work on yourself, but the experience might be very challenging if you currently have lots going onin your life. (physical or mental wellbeing)

    • Sitter: having someone there, reassuring you if needed (I don't anymore, but definitely recommend for the first time) I tend to replace that with nice positive messages just in case (anchors).

last but not least, plan a full day with your favourite tv shows/food after the trip, gettig back into the madness that is life might be overwhelming at first, you will need time to think about what you experienced and reflect most likely...

ho and a very light stomach and a day trip in the morning is definitely imo my favourite, I get VERY exhausted from LSD, and midly from shrooms, but can't sleep on both even after 8-14 hours, so dosing LSD at 6 pm is not a good thing for me. Don't forget to drink lots of water!

Ha I somehow responded to your comment instead pf the post, sorry getting used to lemmy 😅

  • Yeah same and even if I name my timers sometimes the meaning of the words is temporarily forgotten, (if I can can even read them!)

Forgot about notifications! definitely would add that too... I'll see if my motivation goes far enough as producing a minimum viable prototype :)

That's how I got the idea of creating an app with nice charts and graphs that shows exactly how much effect you're supposed ti be experiencing based on psychonaut wiki's timing data and maybe a weight or metabolism speed factor in app setting.

You would be able to choose the substance, from caffein to mushroom whith everyhing in between, the way of intake, amount etc... and a nice graph with an indication of where you are right know will be displayed.

This could be very usefull to nail hippie flipping timings and other less risky mixing (PLEASE follow harm reduction guideline, the app would warn users trying to input two very dangerous interactions or if they are inputting so much quantity that they are going to OD off course)

on top of that, visual feedback could be implemented like instead of a graph, just the screen color changing wpuld be an even simpler thing to understand to someone under shrooms (only tried this and lsd cannot so please feel free to comment if you have more experience!).

1 - Do you know of any app like this already existing?

2 - Would you use an app like that instead of basic timers?
