Remember folks -- there are also a few things you can always do that don't cost anything but some of your time to help GameStop. I understand not everyone has the funds to buy stock, pre-order etc. If you haven't done so already, try knocking out a few things from this list:

• Visit https://gamestop.com/ and browse daily (I wish they had a 'favorite' or 'collection' system)
• Visit https://nft.gamestop.com/ and browse daily (you CAN favorite here!)
• Sign-Up for an account (even if you don't buy pro {you should for discounts!})
• Follow GameStop Social Media Accounts & engage / like / reply / quote their content
• Submit an email for their newsletter
• Sign up @ https://playr.gamestop.com/
• Download the GameStop App
• Submit questions & constructive feedback about the website and business ([email protected])
• If you run your own site / blog, sign up for their affiliate program to make commissions!

While these don't always contribute to profits etc, they do help the company with numbers metrics in terms of marketing, members, engagement & more. Let me know if I'm missing anything!

In case anyone reads this in the future, I have completed moving my GameStop Wallet crypto / NFTs to another wallet. Below is a top level guide on how I was able to achieve it before GameStop sunset their wallet.

• I moved IMX content (Illuvitars & D1SKs) to the email version of the IMX wallet {whos private key can be opened on metamask}. All you have to do is sign up via email / magic wallet on the Immutable Marketplace. Make sure you register it to an email you won't lose access to as well as back up and passphrases and private keys after you make it.

• I moved standard, L1 NFTs and my remaining crypto to my MetaMask and Loopring Wallets (you might as well secure your Loopring Wallet ENS during this process while you're at it). This applies to all L1 NFTs as well as L1, ETH network cryptos.

• For any L2 currency like IMX tokens, I had to move them back to L1 as ETH before I could withdraw them to another wallet. You only have to do this if the wallet you're moving to does not support IMX tokens. Here is a full guide that Immutable provides on how to do just that.

• You should still back up your GameStop Wallet Private Key and Passphrase somewhere safe.

Remember, you have until **October 1st** to access your Passphrase and Private Key. The app will be removed from the market on November 1st. Here is the posted alert message in case anyone has not read it on wallet.gamestop.com:

"Due to the regulatory uncertainty of the crypto space, GameStop has decided to remove its iOS and Chrome Extension wallets from the market on November 1, 2023.

We advise that all customers ensure that they have access to their Secret Passphrase by October 1, 2023. Any customer with access to their Secret Passphrase has the ability to recover their account in any compatible wallet."

Thanks to awesome apes on the discord, I've also expanded my knowledge and collection into Layer 2 and Loopring's offering like Red Packet NFT drops.

My first collection after teaching myself is called: Red Bandana Gorillas (I'm sure you all get the reference 😉)

NYTEMODE here again with an intro post to this community and talking about my quest to become a Creator on GameStop's NFT Marketplace. At this point, I think I've been denied about 2 - 3 times but that was well before all of the new knowledge I've gained around NFTs.

Say Hello to Cardboard Buck!

Buck resurfaced recently and I knew I had him with me for YEARS somewhere. I was able to find him today. This is a cardboard cutout from an in-store pop-up standee that I believe was used to promote the original Buck coin game on mobile. I was working at GameStop at the time. He is eating a chocolate gold coin.

This is now my 3rd time posting this since both subs were nuked. But, 3rd times the charm right?

First and foremost I did receive permission to post this. I've been here for this whole saga and man, what a show it's been. I lost my job recently but I'm a long time lurker, only XX shares pure booked and longer time gamer. I even worked at GameStop way back in the way backs and am a midnight launch veteran having worked releases like Call of Duty: MW2 and Halo: Reach. I was even working at GameStop when they LAUNCHED the PowerUp Rewards program. I am also not looking for sympathy, but opportunity.

Game Changers: How NFTs and Blockchain are Transforming the Video Game Industry

I wrote this book for my friends and family who are still very resistant and hesitant about what is happening. Right in front of our eyes. It is only about an hour long read and touches on a lot of subjects of the space without getting technical for people to understand easily. I mention GameStop's NFT marketplace, Loopring and Immutable X within the book as well. The book shares insight on how true ownership unlocks so many possibilities. The biggest one that makes my friends eyes light up is the fact that if they spend X hours grinding in a game to unlock something, the ability to sell it to someone else sets them ablaze.

3 people in my friend group have the Silver Kayle skin from the physical Collector's Edition of League of Legends. We've ALL been offered $1,000+ for our accounts just for that skin alone - imagine if they were NFTs 😉

The best part about the book? The secret sauce is a lot of the points and web3 details in the book can be translated to almost ANY industry. Gaming is just easier to explain with because I know it better than anything.
