I stayed at an Airbnb for a friend's bday last night and had a great time singing along to Road to El Dorado (and kept everyone up with my snoring). I'm back home, cleaning myself and the apartment and will shortly be taking a Tears of the Kingdom break.

Yeah. Even with all the bullshit trans and queer people face I am much happier being myself. Wouldn't trade it for anything. It helps that I live in a queer positive city in a US state without pushes for anti trans legislation, certainly. But whenever I feel depressed about fascists making life harder for people like me I can always reach out to my partner and my found family for support.
I'm having a great time playing The Saboteur on my Deck. It's not on Steam but if you buy it on GOG you can run it through Heroic Game Launcher's Steam integration. You can also run the EA App (yuck) version on Deck but it takes a little more doing, or emulate the PS3 version.
A criminally underrated open world game from 2009 where you play as an ornery Irish man fighting Nazis in occupied Paris. It's well written and acted and nails the aesthetic of the time and place. Plus it's just fun blowing shit up.
Also my friend got me Potion Craft which is cozy.

In Everhood, an RPG with rhythm-based battles, you start out only being able to dodge enemy attacks. Much later into the game, your character regains their memories and a new sense of purpose as well as finally gaining the ability to attack.
Then you have to return to the battles you scraped by by dodging and look for opportunities to sneak attacks in. It adds a new level of challenge to an already challenging game.
